    Confidential sources tell The Washington Post that the DOJ is actively pursuing former President Trump with felony convictions. How nuts are Washingtonians? Do they believe they can indict, prosecute, jail, and sentence the 2024 GOP contender without public blowback?

    For half of America, attempting to take down Trump for delivering a speech over a mile from the Capitol on Jan. 6 is a stretch! Especially when almost no one has been punished for the horrible Russian coercion hoax that nearly destroyed his presidency.     A    s usual, Democrats are getting it all wrong. They know that they have nothing on Trump and yet they play into his hand anyway. One must question the morals, honor, and personal integrity of those who would do this for no legitimate reason.

    Why are democrats so consumed by bitter hatred and blind rage that they would risk tending the nation in two over when they know that they have nothing on him. They know that Teump supporters would never accept or tolerate such an injustice

    Trump is supported by a popular anti-establishment mass movement that was already active long before Trump entered politics.

    That movement’s support for Trump is very provisional. Another Republican — or Democrat who better represented a challenge to our corrupt bipartisan ruling class would be able to replace Trump in a skipped New York heartbeat.

    OTOH, El Chapo was probably a bit harder to replace — or maybe not.

    The RP/DP is rather hateful.
    But IMO, most Trump supporters would prefer to see the USA succeed regardless of who is in charge. Peace and Love! :)

    1. I generally support Trump.
    2. I support Biden and his administration's effort to turn back the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
    3. I condemn what I see as frivolous partisan opposition to the war effort by elements of the RP and Tucker Carlson.
    4. I am generally supportive of Carlson.
    5. I and generally supportive in principle of Biden's plan to tax the hell out of Big Business.
    6. I hope Biden and the DP will be able to stop inflation and allow the economy to fully recover from the lockdowns. I do not want Biden or the DP to fail.
    7. I oppose any effort to impeach Biden or remove him from office.

    jailing al capone did not break up the chicago mob, and many gangsters lead their "mass movements" from prison. i don't think that means we should tolerate the gangs or allow the leaders to enjoy life.

    I think it's the Joseph Goebbels effect that if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth. If you wear your adversaries (Republican voters) down with the lie long enough you have a chance of getting them to support the lie out of mental weariness. Maybe not all, but enough to make a difference.

    Trump's worst enemies through years of aggressive non-stop witch-hunts/show trials and every other kind of secret police investigation have fully exonerated him from such frivolous charges.

    The whole world has been surprised to learn that Donald Trump, of all people, is now the only human being in history to have been proved innocent beyond any reasonable doubt by his haters.

    When you fire the director of the FBI - who is investigating you - you are an autocrat who despises the justice system.

    And I'm not talking about blackmailing Zelensky into launching a fake investigation of Biden.

    And I'm not talking about using his pardon to get his criminal friends out of jail.

    And I'm not talking about sending his supporters to smash up the Capitol to prevent the new POTUS chosen by the people from taking office.
