It does not. At all. I grew up in a small town. Most of my friends are from small towns. Small towns are loaded with small people, like anywhere. The town residents are no more likely to help out than anywhere else---in fact, sometimes old grudges and resentments run deeper there.

Some years ago I saw a video from a large city. There was a woman flat on her back on a public sidewalk. There was a man straddling her beating her brutally with his fists. She was completely defenseless, and he was just pounding on her and pounding on her, over and over and over. And a crowd of big city residents were gathered around just watching. No one stepped up to help her. Nobody. Take video, yes. But help her? Nope. Not one. I remember commenting that I would have intervened and stopped him from beating her, and big city types commented back that I was stupid to put myself at risk. That's the difference right there.

Sure, nobody's claiming that every small town person is a perfect angel. But most small towns would come together and not let a rag-tag bunch of antifa thugs trash their town and intimidate their citizens. They just won't. And that's why those punks only victimize large liberal-run cities like Portland, OR, and Seattle, WA. Ya know what? An easy 2 hour drive east of Portland on I-84 is Pendleton, OR. It's cowboy country out there. Antifa has never tried anything out there. And for good reason.

 

That's funny, that there are actually people who think that antifa or BLM comes out and attacks towns.

Their masters have terrified with an endless barrage of such propaganda. Deliberately, because keeping the conservative herd hysterical keeps them obedient.

As you may know I work at a gas station/mechanics garage. We frequently have a donation jar on the front counter for people in the town who encounter bad circumstances whether it be a untimely death or illness or some other tragedy.

The number of people who will donate is astounding. And every penny of it goes to the person in need.

 

I'm just noting to you that you shouldn't be in this thread when you say you don't care.
That's just being the police, but being polite.
