Jealousy equates to a strong desire for what belongs to oneself.
Covetousness equates to a strong desire to acquire what belongs to others.
Envy equates to a strong desire to prevent others from obtaining more than oneself.

The envious can be content with very little, as long as they are not aware of others having more. This is exploited by the covetous, who acquire what belongs to others by peddling the idea of equal outcomes to the envious.
The covetous often peddle the idea of equal outcomes to the envious, and that makes me jealous.
