Particularly, Mceneny was prepared with the whole shutdown debate/debacle, showing all of the national media how they said not to worry about the coronavirus, go to Chinatown, etc. Since the national media doesn't like looking like a hypocrite, they call her the liar instead ROFL.

 

I have watched several news conferences. She answers them! Of course there are questions that are not quite in the news cycle, so she doesn't know. But when she says she'll find out, she finds out!

Compare that to Trump's pseudo-press secretaries who just canceled them because they never answered anything whatsoever. I guess in comparison she seems like an information machine.

 

Press secretaries usually don't last long.

Personally I don't know, but as the other posters put it, both taxing and difficult to read the Pres mind, doesn't help their sleep. That would be my guess, unless of course it is a career stepping stone to get ahead.

I don't really understand the partisanship here. Mceneny was prepared and Psaki isn't. You don't have to like what Mceneny said to at least be able to admit that she was prepared, but the left can't even do that. And the sheer volume of 'circle back' answers Psaki gave in the first week showed just how unprepared she was. It just shows how much partisanship plays a role in so many peoples minds these days. They can't even admit the most basic and obvious of things.

McEnany gave speeches. She didn't answer questions. It's easy to deliver a pre-written speech and run away from questions.

That clip is especially relevant as it is a complete lie. Trump and his admin loved the attacks. He said something about "patriots" and hugging. Not even sure McEnany could talk about 1/6 the same way today.
