I'm not sure of the intent of the book or what it is selling exactly----but I'm guessing its talking about collateral damage---which happens in war. Is it moral to bomb cities that kill women and children as well as the fighting men and weapons? I say yes. Is it tragic? Yes.

People who think a war can be fought without the innocent dying----are totally ignorant of reality in my opinion. Islamic terrorists know it. Its a mistake that we in recent times consider collateral damage as a crime---because frankly we won't win a war with that attitude.

Of course---having not read the book--again I don't know what the story is with it or what exactly he is selling....but based on the post I think his viewpoint is simply commonsense.
