The media are vehmnently anti-populism whether on the left or the right. They serve the interests of state and corporate power. They protect the status quo. Ron Paul is a threat to the status quo because he opposes corporatism and imperialism so he must be ignored or ridiculed. I dont agree with Ron Paul on the economy (his Libertarian paradise would only lead to the state-corporate tyranny that he opposes) or the environment but he's still a far better choice than any establishment candidate. His constituencies are the people, not financial institutions and the corporate class.
