Donald Trump has successfully delayed his Florida classified documents case. Jack Smith, using prosecutors at the DoJ, attempted to time both the DC and Florida trials to overlap forcing him and his attorneys to fly back and forth and be in two places at the same time while also running for office. Trump had asked for a delay and it looks like Cannon has granted it to him. Before her ruling, Jack Smith and his team warned Judge Cannon to not be "manipulated" by Trump. That went over like a fart in church. In terms of actually manipulating the case, Jack Smith used a DC grand jury for Florida based charges in order to secure his indictment with a non-Trump friendly jury pool. They also tried forcing Trump's defense attorneys to fly to DC each time they wanted to view certain documentary evidence from the case.
