I just caught this little tidbit from the bottom of the article I posted above.. ..LOL....

    SNIP
    • The filing also urged the Court to dismiss the lawsuit against Donald Trump Jr.
Catch up quick: Swalwell filed a lawsuit in March against Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr., Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani for inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.

    ENDSNIP

So Brooks and Giuliani are left twisting in the wind??? Typical.... How would Junior have an out that Giuliani wouldn't???

Right. One Party or the other would need to appeal the Appellate Court's decision and then SCOTUS would have to agree to hear the case (I think it takes 5 justices agreeing to hear the appeal).

That's certainly a thought... Garland doesn't want to be seen as the guy volunteering all the dirty laundry 90 days into his term, even if that laundry was for a 280 pound liar...

Update: Berman Jackson agreed to the stay while the appeal goes on.... Not unexpected, but her filing shows she doesn't sound all that happy about it...
