I agree, that's why only one juror caused a mistrial instead of half the bench. There will be another trial, he will be convicted.

No, I don't think using statistics to injure a group should ever be used but the majority of statistics you are attempting to use are easily reversed as illustrated; the reasons should definitely be reviewed and addressed. This new racist "white privlage" mantra will do nothing but deteriorate race relations further.

All classifications of people have statistical outliers and "group issues but don't try and fight racism with more racism. It's an absolutely absurd tactic, especially when you are in a glass house.

    Oh I disagree.
When potential black jurors are massive dismissed so we end up with an as good as white jury most of the time (and this is happening), than something is not right. When white people are punching above their weight with ODing, as well as using drugs, but black people are predominantly arrested for drug related offenses, than something is not right. Same crap that women are statistically underpaid compared to men in the same position. It aint right. White privilege is so real when you look at the statistics. Time to end that ostrich sticking my head in the sand thing and see how this "separate but equal" is still around.

It would be different if the statistics illustrated a slight trend. These statistics are overwhelming. Blacks make up about 1/8th the population but commit about half the rapes and murders. Folks don't usually go to prison for using drugs, they go to prison for selling drugs.

We should address it by ending no reason dismissals. If only the anomalies in the black communities were solved so easily.
The drug war is an assault on the freedoms of all Americans. I know everything has to be centered around one race but when it is applied to the benifit of all you will gain traction better than just using the ultimate victim class.
    This is false
So is black crime but stigmatizing an entire group of people will dissolve the conversation before it begins.
Na, your right. A better strategy is to call all white people racist and that they unfairly benifit through no merit of their own (sounds like AA doesn't it). Commit the bulk of the crime, loot cities when a pos assaults an officer and is summarily executed, block emergency vehicles, openly call for the genocide of an entire race, assault people only because of their skin color and then call everyone else racist. Let me know how that works out for you.

White people think racism is getting worse. Against white people.

I would have thought the video...

... of him dumpin' the taser next to the body...
    :omg:
... would have clinched a guilty verdict.

More than four in five of the arrests were for possession of banned substances, rather than for their sale or manufacture.

The opposite is the truth. People go to prison for having drugs. And the police is actively hunting down the black community on this. Not my opinion. But states in my source. That's how jails are full with black people, while the fact is that white people are the ones punching above their weight in doing drugs. That's how white privilege works.

You clearly do not know what you're talking about, and express your typical white view of the world that doesn't come with any data to back it up.

Are you stupid or just pretending? When you get arrested for having 50 lbs of dope it probably wasn't for personal consumption.

If this would be solved so easy, why hasn't it happened yet? Point of the story is, that racism is just rampart in the heart of the judicial system in the US. In the heart! And that leaves nothing to the imagination of how things go outside of that. That "anomaly" of the white community will take a miracle to solve.

White people do more drugs; people of color do more time in jail for drugs—and that’s just one of the nasty discrepancies highlighted by a recent National Survey on Drug Use and Health.
    http://www.vocativ.com/291203/white-people-do-more-drugs-black-people-serve-more-time/

Drug overdose currently kills 38,000 people a year in the U.S., but whites make up its largest group of victims. Whites overdose at twice the rate of blacks and Hispanics — triple when the death involves prescription pain relievers.

These are the facts. Rather clear and simple. White people in the US are punching above their weight. Black people are arrested over that far more often than white people. It just is. And that is just part of that grand scheme of white privilege. How about you stop making white people part of the ultimate victim class?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_pay_gap
In the US,, the gender discrimination leads to 6% of the wage cap.
Exactly how ignorant are you to call this false? Seriously?
Your general knowledge is really crap.
Meh. Peoples noses need to be pushed in what is stinking the most since white privilege is being denied by way too many. Heck, its "socially" accepted to just rant about that people who demand an end to white privilege are a bunch of racists to even KKK-like terrorists. Statistics show it's true.
Oh? You think it will be any day soon that white people are removed as potential jury peeps because of their skin color? Freaking hell, what a bunch of whiners.

Because no one is pushing for ending the practice. The people that should be bringing attention to it are to busy demanding safe spaces and screaming white privilege.

You do realize whites make up 60% of the population, correct? You keep omitting this. Break the numbers down by population size and get back to us. Kthanks

Again, see above and try again.

Yes, seriously. I cannot help that you seek out sources that verify your beliefs, try doing some actual research into topics before you post. You will come out ahead.

Why do you find it necessary to try and inflame the issue with your fallaciouslg painting it as an "execution"?

    Try again

You are trying to claim that under no circumstance can a police officer shoot at a fleeing suspect. You already know that is patently false. Again was he just supposed to let him run away?

And one happened before the other and would be two separate charges. In this case I am talking about the shooting itself and the law that applies here.

Try again. Is their NO circumstance where a officer should be able to use lethal force on a fleeing suspect?

We are talking tthe principle you are applying here.

    See above. No circumstance?

We are talking about this circumstance and no he wasn't justified shooting him in the back.

No we are talking about the Walter Scott Case.

And you stated a principle which I am asking about.

Are there NO circumstances where an officer can legal use lethal force to stop a fleeing suspect?
