It really doesn't matter how you describe yourself because your posts expose the fact that you support the disasterous failed Republican/Libertarian deregulated free market dogma that has needlessly harmed the hardworking citizens of Kansas.

And yes, your posts also expose that you are a Tr(oll)mp sycophant supporter.

The voters of Kansas are turning their backs on those failed Republican/Libertarian deregulated free market fiscal policies because they don't work in the real world.

I disagree that Kansas is an example of "libertarian fiscal policies" because Republicans are not libertarians.

Libertarians support socially liberal policies that actually pay for tax cuts by saving money on the one hand and increasing revenues on the other.

Kind of how Democrats don't want to talk about Illinois and its deteriorating financial situation. Maybe if the Illinois General Assembly raises taxes and spends more tax money, that will make the situation better.

Kansas PROVED that the Republican/Libertarian TAX CUTS resulted in FAR LESS REVENUE which is why the state is in such dire fiscal straits right now.

And because of those Republican/Libertarian TAX CUTS social programs like education and healthcare are needlessly suffering.

Is there a limit on the amount of money we should spend to save a person's life? Or should we just spend as much money as possible to save every single individual who wants or needs healthcare of some sort?

You mean like they suffer in cities run by Democrats where greedy union bosses manipulate the political system in order to provide an inferior service at an inflated cost?

One of the biggest reasons why poor people have difficulty finding employment is because minimum wage laws make it illegal to hire them at a market rate.

In fact, most of the problems you cite - with healthcare, education and jobs - can be traced back in some way to government interference in the market.

Taxes and subsidies that inflate prices; sleazy government unions who want to do as little work as possible for the most money possible; anti-job regulations that reduce incentives to hire new people.

Democrats are always trying to "help" people yet they just end up keeping them down.

Tax cuts in a vacuum are not "libertarian fiscal policies". Libertarian fiscal policies would be a comprehensive approach to the government that includes socially liberal policies that decrease the cost of government while adding additional revenue streams. As one major example, libertarians favor legalizing drugs, which would save lots of money on the enforcement side while bringing in new revenue on the commercial side. It's not libertarian policy to just show up and start shouting "tax cuts" regardless of the overall government structure. For them, tax cuts are just one element in a broader, more comprehensive vision for limited government.

The OP topic is about fiscal policies. You're just using Kansas as an example of fiscal policies you don't like. So I'm giving examples of fiscal policies I don't like.

You made earlier claims about healthcare, education, and jobs, and I asked you some questions in regards to that. Now it looks like you're dodging them.

Governor Brownback and the Republicans mentioned are anything BUT Libertarians and never implemented any Libertarian policies. I agree wholeheartedly that the Republican policies implemented in Kansas are a complete disaster but don't blame the Libertarians for Republican failures.

Libertarians support funding the necessary government while Brownback and the Republicans cut taxes to the point that the state couldn't afford the necessary government services for Kansas. Trickle-down doesn't work and only Republicans like Brownback stick to that absurd economic ideology.
You don't cut taxes on the wealthy, ever, because only the wealthy can afford to pay a significant percentage of income in taxes.

Kansas is the home state of the Libertarian Koch Brothers!

They funded Brownback's campaign for governor on the expectation that he would implement their Republican/Libertarian fiscal dogma which he did to their great advantage financially and to the detriment of the hardworking citizens.

The fact that these Republican/Libertarian policies are FAILING is because they don't work in the REAL WORLD.

The OP is about Kansas and how the Republican/Libertarian tax cuts have been such a catastrophe that it is costing extremist rightwing office holders their elected positions.

Earlier in the thread I posted the link showing how the Republicans have embraced and adopted the Libertarian fiscal policies. Brownback enacted them in Kansas and now his malfeasance is coming home to roost.

Libertarian financial policies don't work in the real world.

I don't care if Kansas was the home state of Thomas Jefferson, their fiscal policies are not libertarian. Kansas is an ultra-conservative law and order state where drugs and prostitution are criminalized costing the state large amounts of tax revenues. You keep acting like tax cuts in and of themselves are libertarian fiscal policy but they're not. Those tax cuts must be viewed in the larger context of limited government that libertarians subscribe to. You can't be fiscally libertarian if you spend millions or even billions of dollars criminalizing consensual acts between adults. That is aggressively anti-libertarian.

Like I said, the OP is about fiscal policy. You're using Kansas as a case study. Well, I'm providing other case studies like Illinois. Talk about a mess.

You can keep saying that all you want, but it won't make it true.

Libertarian philosophy is a comprehensive view of limited government, not a narrow focus on cutting taxes regardless of the circumstances.

No libertarian government would ever spend millions or even billions of dollars criminalizing consensual acts between adults like the Kansas state government does.

That means they are not libertarian.

Kansas is unquestionably a perfect example of a state that has failed based upon right-wing fiscal policies. Illinois is a state that has it's fiscal problems where the funding of government services certainly require increased taxation on the wealthy that, more so than anyone else, can afford to pay a higher percentage of income in taxes. California is an example of a state where left-wing fiscal polices have been implemented and it's not just funding the necessary government services but is actually generating surplus revenue.

So we have the perfect example of right-wing fiscal policies failing in Kansas.
We also have California as the perfect example of left-wing fiscal policies succeeding.
Finally we have Illinois that falls in between the two.

So yes, we should look at the results in other states for comparative purposes.

Don't make me laugh. Illinois and California are both fiscal messes that are trending towards insolvency.

This is complete nonsense. Gary Johnson is a lifelong Republican with some libertarian leanings and is not really a Libertarian. What he is to the Libertarian Party is a candidate that's qualified to be president based upon his experience as governor of New Mexico and the Libertarian Party doesn't have any qualified candidates with the resume necessary (i.e. experience at high levels of government) to qualify for the office of President of the United States. Unlike the Republican Party that nominated Donald Trump that's completely unqualified to be President the Libertarian Party is pragmatic in selecting a person that is qualified to be President.

Libertarians support "necessary government" unlike Republicans that support "minimal government" and there's a huge difference between the two.

You're citing the US/Libertarian Party/platform/1980? Seriously? Why don't you move forward into the 21st Century and use the current 2016 Libertarian Party Platform. In the last 36 years the Libertarian Party Platform had changed dramatically from what existed in 1980.

Yea, the pensions are an absolute mess in both states, just like in Greece. Democrats don't care though. They just want to fleece taxpayers for as much money as possible for as long as possible.

Because the relevant portions that I quoted haven't changed in essence in the last 36 years.

Now how exactly is that different in any significant manner than it was back in 1980?

My point is that Libertarians, primarily the Koch brothers, starting subverting the Republican party and platform and using it to enact their Libertarian agenda.

And yes, it has worked to the detriment of Kansas and several other states and to the nation as a whole with the Bush jr tax cuts. But that is a digression.

Kansas is a fiscal basket case because of enacting Republican/Libertarian fiscal policies per the documented platform of both parties.
