    Karl Rove vs. TP

    Rand Paul vs. Chris Christie

    John McCain vs. Ted Cruz

Gosh, it's a good thing the GOP doesn't have to worry about the President and Democrats, they're too busy destroying themselves.

I'd rather see the Tea Party win over the bloated fat ass Karl Rove and his dirty bag of tricks.

The Tea Party would be great if they got rid of the crazies and kicked out the big money backers like the Koch Brothers.

Ah, yes, their dirty little "secret".

The Nazis didn't even talk about the Jews much, until after 1933. Many Jews supported the Nazis, some right up to the Gas Chamber doors.

Yeah, because we all know the desire for less government is the exact same thing as a belief one race is genetically superior to the others.

It's definitely a minority, and a very small one just, but I understand why the Democrats want to keep playing the race card. It's not like they have a whole lot of others to use. :D

Breitbart, the new World Nut Daily...you only ever get half the news and info.

Yes, TP Express raised 2 million in the first 6 months of 2013, and this is how they spent it...

So of the 2 mil raised 1.65 mill was spent on...wait for it...raising more money...with most if it going to orgs and business's owned or controlled by the TP EX principals.

So if you donated to TP EX, congrats, you just flushed your money down the loo. But the TP EX PTB's have very nice homes...and they thank you for it.

You wish! No, great as in a viable alternative to the "Grand Ol' Party of Big Business" which has now evolved into the "Republican Party of Big Religion".

Admiring the "success" of the California Republican Party, Tea Party Republicans are attempting to replicate the same.

If they don't start standing for something other than anti-abortion and hating teh gays, they don't deserve to continue existing.

And I hope the Dems don't destroy themselves. Obama is an idiot and anyone that voted for him a moron, but pointing that out is not the same as having reasons people should vote FOR a Republican.

To be something truly worth voting for, the Republicans need a freedom and prosperity agenda. Right now they don't have one. Just 99 MPH over a cliff rather than 100... while they snoop on your bedroom habits. That isn't worth supporting. The fights they are having now are vital to them emerging with something worth supporting. Otherwise, let the Dems win, and I can shrug and say, "I didn't vote for them."

It was Ann Coulter that wrote of Republicans trying to beat Democrats to granting millions of illegal aliens Amnesty, that, "once all of America has California's demographics, they'll be unstoppable!!!!"

If the 'tea party" wing of the GOP were ever to get rid their crazies and big money backers......they would be so few in number as to be extinct. get it now?

Again, I understand why the Left Wingers really, really want this to be true, but it isn't. Go ahead and believe it if you wish. Sometimes it's better if the opposition underestimates you than if they overestimate your abilities.

At this point I don't see a viable anything within our government. This country is so divided and the government is like some schizo bipolar disorder that is in search of a name.

I think it is. Currently, mostly at the local level. At the national level we have crazies like Bachmann and well-heeled power players like the Koch brothers distorting the aims of the Tea Party for their own purposes.

You have identified the main reasons the TP is headed for some huge challenges. The basic premise of the TP is noble, but it has been hijacked by the Koch brothers and by some very questionable characters, such as loons such as Bachmann and then the very evident racist element. The Koch Brothers are using the TP to advance their personal agendas. It is nearly impossible for the TP to separate itself from those elements.

Agreed on "facing challenges" and the hijacking of a grassroots movement by power players. The OWC is going to face exactly this same challenge if they decide to go national.

Disagreed on the "very evident racist element". Racists exist on both sides of the ideological spectrum (example: New Black Panthers), but are not mainstream. The racist meme is one of the few cards the Left always plays, yet never answers for themselves.

Karl Rove still walks around free and people wonder why other people think the system is so badly broken.

The same politics is going on in Europe, the current governments (cabinets, prime ministers, etc) are weakening/destroying themselves (by e.g. scandals, e.g Berlusconi is a very clear example), two or three new parties are on the rise (the flanks and the 'neutral'/'pirat' or such parties)
And because the flanks are on the rise (which are 'nationalists', and 'socialists') an opposition will form (because many see the flanks as a danger for liberty and 'democracy') So the only thing you see is more and more political fight (means more voters are going to be organized, because millions pick a side and/or listen to a politician that speaks in their minds what they want to hear.

Karl Rove takes on the TP, because politicians do everything in their power to organize people/voters, to any party (organisation) If people don't vote on one of the three main parties D, R or TP, they create another party (e.g a 'Freedom' party, or 'neutral' party, or 'pirat' party, etc., and/or yet another organisation, and/or try to attack the three parties to create another 'leader') So every person in the media that tries to become popular in a short time using emotion politics, is a problem to a population's freedom.
