Key Hunter Biden Witness Says James Comer Is Lying About His Testimony

Well there's a shocker.


Considering Comer's history of carefully parsed reality coupled with his blatant lying, this sounds exactly what the head Hunter persecutor would do.


A lawyer, oddly and for seemingly no reason testifying behind closed doors in the impeachment inquiry regarding president Biden, is claiming that Comer took said testimony two hours later and released partial statement without context in order to distort the testimony.

The lawyer is now asking that his entire testimony be released.

I think this demonstrates both the lack of character in Comer and his obsession with lying about things related to the Biden's in order to appease his preferred, fragile ego'ed man Trump.

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer “cherry-picked” the testimony of Kevin Morris, a friend of Hunter Biden who sat for a deposition as part of the Republican impeachment inquiry into the president, Morris’s lawyer said.

Morris is a high-powered entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles who met Hunter at a 2019 presidential fundraiser for his father, Joe Biden. Morris has loaned Hunter nearly $5 million in the years since. He testified about his relationship with the embattled first son in a closed-door committee hearing Thursday.

“Not two hours after we left Mr. Morris’ transcribed interview, you issued a press statement with cherry‐picked, out of context and totally misleading descriptions of what Mr. Morris said,” Morris’s lawyer Bryan Sullivan said in a letter to Comer, which was obtained by The New Republic. “I demand you now release the entire transcript of Mr. Morris’ interview.”

 

I dont think the guy funding a tax cheat crack addict is someone to take seriously.

I wonder if hunter's paid back the 5 million plus in "loans" ?

Weird how if he gives him 5 million as a "gift" hunter would have to pay income tax. But as a loan , hunter doesnt have to. Probably just a big coincidence.

My guess is because in the correct context it contains a theme of Hunter being a screw up, but not of any definitive wrongdoing in the vein of what Comer alleges

I am talking about the witnesses character. You said why should we believe him, yet Comer has no issues with using his testimony.

You have no issues believing his testimony that the loan doesn't need to be repaid, and then in the same breath say why should we believe him when he says otherwise. Interesting.

 

Ok, so a guy loans Hunter Biden money even though Biden probably has little to no chance of paying it back. What collateral was used? I can think of a case where a guy is being prosecuted for receiving loans even though he had the collateral to back it up.

Certainly been insinuating about Hunter. Do you seriously think Hunter is the only connected person to receive a favor. If he was that abusing of drugs at the time, it is unlikely, but Comer's games are long in the tooth. Hunter's problems are no secret, but Comer is keeping secrets, i.e., the transcripts and maybe more.
