What this is, when analysed, is a re-establishment of the theory of 'disperate impact'. Disperate cohort results ON ANY METRIC are alone proof of racism. I think the real problem is low IQ, thug culture, a general disdain for education... black teachers that aren't much brighter than the students, white teachers who are intimidated. That's not to say that all blacks are ignorant thugs, that's not the case at all. Those who want to succeed will.

This is actually a very bad thing. What it means is the blacks will do worse in school...because good students and teachers will be forced to deal with disruptive intimidating students. And whites will get very angry once they see their children treated as second class citizens and blacks encouraged to be thugs. Not a good thing. I remember how angry I felt years back....when I couldn't move my child out of a bad school simply because he was white. If he had been black---he could have gone to any school with openings. That type of treatments sticks with you.
You are exactly right. But Obama, being part marxist and part leftist...especially leftist does not think the thing thru. The unintended consequences will be that we are going to have an angrier, more arrogant black population. Because they can do anything they want and not face the punishment that will be inflicted on students of other races, they will become lazier, more arrogant and feel entitled to succeed in spite of their ignorance and laziness. Blatant institutional racism. Kids will now be punished simply for being white or Asian. And I don't expect a single race-baiter to have a problem with this either. Because that's what real racists do. They justify their racism as being okay. On top of that, this won't even help anything. What it will do is lower standards for black kids which will, in turn, produce inferior results. If you're not going to punish bad behavior, don't be surprised when you get more of it. Do you like delinquent behavior? Do you think it's good that black kids engage in this at a higher rate? Well, congratulations, you've just made the problem worse. When you give people immunity from behaving responsibily, they will exploit this to the fullest extent possible. It's human nature. Just look at Hollywood.

Very perceptive! What we have, ironically, is the same crowd that preaches multiculturalism is also preaching a new race based segregation policy for our schools. And it's useful to note that Asians excell because they want to excell and success in school is a priority. You can have race based school programs from now until the end of time and nothing will change...until the community that produces generation after generation of violent failures changes itself!!!
Soon there will be more white kids being eudcated outside of the public school system than in. a couple generations of that and the liberal brain trust will dwindle.
