Get on the Mayflower; landed in Cape Cod in the dead of winter; and due to the extreme cold and sickness, they lose half of their people; bury them in a common grave and are on the brink of starvation for two years because they had been forced into socialism — communism — by the English government," Cameron said.

"Well, their governor abandons socialism, gives every person and
family their own plot of land," he continued.

"They switched to capitalism with Christian character, and the crops flourish — the laziness goes away….

actually the Pilgrams were the "woke mob" going against accepted British Christianity. Breaking British traditions, and trying to change British socity to fit their world view.

 

There was like one thanksgiving which was nothing like ours in the early 1600's and after that the native americans were screw white folk.

 

That’s right. The land was divided so that everyone had their own that they could manage as theirs. Before it was a collective that no one had a personal stake in.

 

So you're claiming they were given land in a government hand-out ... after they had enjoyed being given refuge in a foreign land ... and that was after
people gave them money to buy passage on the Mayflower ... whole lot of socialistic behavior in your little adventure.

 

And the Thanksgiving that President Washington and President Lincoln spoke of and advocated for?

 

Actually it’s true. Although the British Government had nothing to do with it, the Pilgrims did try to practice collectivism, and it failed. When each person took responsibility, the freeloaders had to get work, the colony was headed toward success.

 

As a direct descendant of Mayflower passenger John Howland, I am thankful for what they endured and achieved. By the way, he was an indentured servant... Does England owe me reparations?
