I read the Koran in Ukrainian they write that one must believe, otherwise death do you agree Christ promises heaven for faith
The concept of 'peace' is different in Arabian culture (and Asia, generally). The western concept of 'peace' is a lack of violence. The eastern concept of 'peace' is more like a lack of disobedience. This manifests in Islam as an emphasis on obedience to Allah and His prophet Mohammed. The primary conceptual difference between Islam and Christianity is that in Islam it matters less that you believe and more that you obey, and in Christianity it matters less that you obey and more that you believe.
I spose it depends on your values. From the perspective of free will, the western conception of peace makes more 'logical' sense. But from the perspective of social order, the eastern conception is prolly more 'logical.'
It is obvious to me that dictatorships even for example in Russia act very much like countries run by Islamists.
