Erbil, August 28 (AKnews) - A Kurdish politician from the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) has reportedly dies of tear gas effects after Turkish security forces tried to disperse Kurdish demonstrators on Sunday in Hakari province's Cukurca town, south east of the country.

The pro-Kurdish Firat News Agency reported that Yildirim Ayhan was seriously injured as a tear gas bomb hit him on the chest who later died in hospital.

Cukurca witnessed demonstrations Sunday who protested Turkish air strikes against alleged PKK targets in northern Kurdish Region's border territories that have killed seven civilians from one family.

Nice way to disperse a demonstration. Shoot them by tear gas canisters at point blank. Humane methods.
