Doesn’t matter. He’s being chased by a mob, one of whom fired a firearm at him. No judge will say that he reasonably should have stopped and tried to figure out exactly which one shot at him before he returned fire. Especially when the guy he shot is lunging at him.

Uh no sir. He was not there to hunt. But the exception provided in the law does NOT address whether or not the minor is hunting.
The authors opinion is that it was for hunting and he’s probably right. But that doesn’t change the fact that the actual provision doesn’t state they MUST be hunting to own or carry the rifle.

There’s no Wisconsin or federal law that prohibits any legal gun owner from carrying firearms across state lines. If there is, show it to us.

There is video of the shooting. The entirety of it. The first shooting and the last two. The video shows Kyle being chased by a mob and the mob firing a gun at him before Kyle turns around and laces their ass up. He then makes a phone call and gets chased again and then the other shooting happens.
Regardless, once they start chasing him and firing a gun, he has every right to turn around and blow their brains through the backs of their head.

Look at the facts. There is something very off about this kid. Think about it. He was bullied, called " stupid and dumb" by other teen idiots and is trying to find a way to " get credibility" by putting himself in "danger". He said in a video that he 'ran towards danger' or words to that effect.

I am sadder that a kid was bullied and treated like crap in school to the point that he quit. You know there are elements even here on this board who would call him a snow flake if he was with the protesters. You notice that I said protesters NOT rioters or looters.

It doesn't matter who shot at him? I feel like it does

He was "chased by a mob" after he had shot and killed one man already.

He was an active shooter...and one of the people (the second person) he killed was a white guy who had chased him down and tackled him.

This kid is a killer. He went there with the intention of shooting people.

He is a pudgy little a hole with no other means of "defending businesses" than the assault rifle he had slung military style around his neck.

And what was the police reaction to this guy?

They gave him water and high fives. He wasn't even officially questioned

This is WRONG. He was being chased and fired upon by a mob BEFORE he shot anyone. I’ve already sourced that multiple times

A lot of people try to find validation through different jobs and things on the side to help their communities. That's a good thing, not an unhealthy thing. What is unhealthy is the government not doing their job forcing untrained citizens to fill the gap.

Not in the first shot but the others were obvious since their were chasing him for awhile and then attacking him. If he had been the one who meant then violence, they would have been dead too soon to have an opportunity to chase. If anything, he showed restraint. If I had a mob chasing me, I would have open fired right away. Better to be in jail than dead.

These protesters are out there wanting to "defund" the police. With that will come more regular citizens taking matters into the own hands. So here you go, don't cry now. You're getting what you wanted.

But Kyle acted in self defense. If he hadn't fired his gun, he would be dead. The gunshot victim admitted that.

Word is that people were chasing him to disarm him as a Herat to safety not to harm him. Disarm, not harm.

The video evidence is overwhelming that he was being attacked.

Meanwhile, the Wisconsin authorities issued a warrant before the case was reviewed by the Wisconsin DCF which is a violation of his civil rights.

This kid should sue the crap out of these Democrat adults who failed to do their job in several areas.

Before this started these mobs were destroying and burning things. They were chasing him before he fired the first shot.. There is no reason for Kyle to think they were just going to do a 'citizens arrest'.

Complete video footage of how he was chased, stalked with a visible weapon, and attacked before he fired.

A citizen's arrest made by an ex-felon holding a gun that he is forbidden to carry?

This kid is completely innocent and the authorities issued warrants that don't match the evidence...

The fact that there were active bad guys rioting or looting as vile has that is has nothing to do with young Kyle who is not a police officer and he had no personal or family property or lives to "protect". Kyle an untrained entity put himself in a potentially dangerous situation and he ended up killing people.

Soon after he killed people he called a friend to say that " I killed someone". Nice Kyle really nice.

He is not a mass killer because he acted in self-defense.

Irrelevant to his claim of self-defense.
So long as the state cannot show Kyle instigated or escalated the situation that resulted in him shooting the people who chased him and assaulted him, the fact he walked into a dangerous place is irrelevant to his claim of self-defense.

Under the law, the burden of proof in a claim of self-defense is on the state.
    WI law:
"When the existence of an affirmative defense under sub. (2) has been placed in issue by the trial evidence, the state must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the facts constituting the defense did not exist in order to sustain a finding of guilt"
