I don't think he phrased it that way...... or indicated the sequence of events. The plan is to continue to get those out that want out ,
There is no question that a lot did not work very well..........but they did get a lot of people out i n a short time. Kudos to a highly functioning military

And the US military is now out of there. .......

Let the diplomatic taem handle this from now on....... .

On an interview with George Stephanopolis he said that we would not leave until all Americans were evacuated. Stephanopolis pressed him on that and said it again. He lied

Yes. I think he said that knowing that we would leave regardless of whether all Americans were evacuated or not. Why? I don't know.

 

You really should consider double checking your sources. You have posted erronious comment after erronious comment this last week because you desperately want to make our military and our president look bad. This is not a good look.

 

So, you think the adminstration didn't abandon American citizens in Afghanistan even though they admit they did? Our president has made himself look bad here. But you're a hack and it's no big deal to you.

Biden never had any intentions of staying past the deadline and made that clear but he also said he would get the Americans out. There just was not enough time.

He should have handled this better. When your party loses big in the midterms and in 2024 maybe you will realize just how much Biden screwed up.

Democrats are still saying he did ok and trying to make this sound better than what it is but the facts are he screwed up so baldy that people died and most independents per polls no longer support Biden because of it.

Good luck winning elections without the independents.

we will try to help them if they want the help, but now it's harder

I agree with this on a reasonable conscious level. In part however, you can agree that it's common sense that it would have been easier to.....start the evacuation process a whole lot sooner. If Biden weren't concerned about a political photo op(and i'm convinced that's actually Harris's decision, see her comments on being a major part of the decision.), he could have executed this a lot better.

But the stature of this debacle, the manner of organization, efficency and decision making means that in 2024, I want a new direction and it's definitely not Kamala Harris. If Dems can't find a better nominee, then there might be more 2016-esque tears where they/their voter base is convinced of victory only to have it snatched from the jaws of victory.

It is what it is, lefties will attempt their best DJ Woke spin but the American people all watched this travesty, they all heard Biden say it more than just one interview and they all watched the planes leave.

 

You must be especially proud of his glowing praise for terrorists...... How many Americans left behind? Even the state dept doesn't know. Estimates of many hundreds left there? How is it possible for you to feel good about this?
