    If China was subject to the same strictures under Kyoto as developed nations, their economy (which America relies on to a large extent), would be in serious trouble. China, as I pointed out earlier, relies almost entirely on coal to power its industry and, as a developing nation, has been almost exempt from Kyoto in order that its industrial base may grow.

    It's worth noting that China is way ahead of the West in the serious research, development and application of alternative power technologies, and will likely become the role model for clean and green energy while the complacent West is fighting over the last few drops of oil.

    As a matter of fact, the annual total quantity of CO2 produced by the human activities cannot be absorbed completely by the oceans and increases the on air fraction. And the greenhouse effect must be a consequence.
    Humans are really impacting on the environment. Unfortunately it's not a legend...

    Good. So we agree rising CO2 causes rising temps. Therefore, the human-caused rise in CO2 must have caused higher temps.
