Le Pen shocks France as far right hits historic heights

What killed Sarkosy, and will lead to the defeat of the rest of Europe's right wing leaders, is a combination of extreme austerity measures and extreme Islamophobia.

Like the US, the citizens are getting sick of the right.

 

The popularity of Marine le Pen has surged within the last two years.

Jean-Marie le Pen, the father of France's mainstream far right movement, provoked both outrage and support on Friday when he tweeted an image of his daughter Marine le Pen with the slogan "Keep Calm And Vote Le Pen." The elder Le Pen's message came as police struggled with two separate hostage standoffs in Paris. At least one of the incidents is believed linked to a terrorist attack on the offices of satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead Wednesday.

Emotion/fear/uncertainty/chaos in the population and the increasing political struggle (which became more emotional each year), and the voter mass that swings back and forth between 'far left' and 'far right' (now it can swing back and forth between all kinds of parties) 'Fascism' begins when a majority is mass organized, and that can be done by using politics (politcal news, rethoric and elections are emotional processes, not good for freedom)
This is why people should stop watching the news and politics as much as possible, and stop responding to it (because people copycat and spread that information online like wild fire, so an entire society start to become the same in extra memory, mind and emotion) All that extra or overwhelming information in mind means a rise in emotion, and that is going to cause more unity of a population (that organisation is an invisible process)

When FN is gaining momentum, the opposition will gain momentum as well. So never led both (or all) sites gain momentum (which is hard while people's minds are so starkly influenced by what they see and hear via tv and the news sites)
People can better reduce to respond to all the news and politics if they want to keep their freedom. Zero influence of media and politics is the best thing for the freedom of a society/population/nation, because that liberates the minds of people.
Currently millions of minds are attached to television and news sites, to all the shocking news and ever radical becoming politics.

 

Fear not I would say this is more backlash against extreme liberalism then a desire for fascism. Keep in mind that European liberals are even further left than American liberals
