Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma? National Hurling League? I'm trying to figure out what you mean.

Its a good decision for him. The situation in Miami was untenable. When Lebron made his 8 championships predictions the other 29 owners said 'like hell you are'. With the new CBA coming down hard on the cap it was impossible to keep that team together. If Lebron had stayed in Miami he would have ended up like Kobe in LA.

Also looks like Bosh is staying in Miami.

I agree, but I don't follow the NBA much, so I'm not sure what you mean about the Miami situation being untenable. You mean he'd made the team too much of a target? All I know is that he can go back to Cleveland and be celebrated for the great player that he is, and the fans there will love having him regardless of how many championships he brings. Meanwhile, the self-obsessed blowhards in Miami saw their team win in 2012 and their reaction was "That's one..." I think your comparison with Kobe in L.A. is right on. He needs to go to Cleveland, build a team, and build a legacy.

What I mean is the business of sports and the salary cap. Basketball like football has a hard salary cap. You an only spend so much money to put your team on the court. This amount is determined by the collective bargaining agreement with the players union. When the big 3 came to Miami in 2010 they did so under the old collective bargaining agreement and old salary cap rules. The new CBA was ratified in 2011 and it came down hard on the salary cap. There was no way with the new salary cap that Miami could keep the big 3 singed and field a team around them. They could have kept the big 3 but the other 12 players under contract would be scrubs because there is just not enough money left under the cap to sign good talent.

Lebron saw this and knew that he needed to get to another team with a better salary cap situation. If he had stayed in Miami Bosh would have gone to Houston to get a max money deal and Lebron would bad stuck in a bad situation like Kobe in LA forced to carry a bad aging roster.
