Left-leaning Americans shouldn't participate in TrumpWorld

One of the reasons political discourse has become polarizing, is that opponents of Trump or Trumpism, for whatever reason forget this rule. Participating in their world is not resisting him, it just makes you look as awful as he does but he's better at wearing the stink.

I don't think opponents of Donald or 'his movement' will ever wear the stink as foolishly pridefully as he does. I don't think they can shrug it off, the same way he does. Indeed, nothing positive has been had in this discourse of politics, unique in our own history.

The only one who gains anything positive is Donald, since a dirty game is his preferred game. Don't taint liberalism with such dirt, it's unbecoming of a progressive.

I am no longer a progressive, but I still have sympathy for what the progressive movement used to stand for, and I want them to get back to that.

 

So-called "liberal progressives" have no room cast stones.

They often go to the sump pump of the septic tank of politics.

 

And what is that? Sanity?

 

Before around 2010, it was well known in internet circles that Liberals fancied themselves as the intellectual party. But intellectuals would never say "right side of history" or any of the nonsense that's become modern politics on the left wing side.

 

You do understand that Trump would be the Democrat's favorite opponent in 2024, right? So why should we avoid pointing out his crimes? Just because it benefits him among the MAGA-cult. To Democrats, they are useful idiots. And the Democratic Party has now learned how to manipulate them to their advantage.

Unbecoming or not, it's the strategy that could get enough of them elected to undo all the damage Trump and the MAGA Supreme Court have done to our democracy.
