…The author then concludes that there can be no compromise with the “Republican fascists and larger white right.”

“Their almost-explicit goal is to create a 21st-century Herrenvolk society in which Black and brown people, to quote the infamous words of Chief Justice Roger Taney, have no rights the white man is bound to respect,” he wrote.

“Biden and too many other white liberals and moderates continue to believe that compromise with the Republicans is still possible, and that finding ‘common ground’ can redeem this moment of democratic crisis.”

“That kind of white racial innocence may well be America’s undoing,” he added.

Last month, DeVega claimed the GOP has morphed from an “evil insect” into a full-blown “terrorist organization,” while accusing Republicans and Trump supporters of seeking a war against American democracy, encouraging widescale violence against the left and minorities, and using “stochastic terrorism” to achieve their aims.

In October, a shockingly anti-white and anti-Christian Salon piece by DeVega referred to “the Republican fascist movement” as “objectively evil,” hoping that “people of color” die out in the battle against “multiracial democracy,” while accusing “white Christians” of embracing lies, terrorism, white supremacy, and fascism.

Last February, another Salon essay penned by DeVega accused Republicans of resembling “good Germans” of the Nazi era — wishing to believe they are decent people while hiding behind “fictions of plausible deniability for the evils committed by their leader,” as he described today’s conservatism as seeking “friendly fascism” masked in an appeal to return to “traditional values.”

This is the unvarnished truth of what the democrats and the far secular progressive left truly think. I’m glad that Breitbart is publicizing this Salon article to show the progressives for what they think. For them to think of fellow Americans as like the German Nazis is despicable and beneath contempt.

Yeah, right, 'cause Breitfart is such a bastion of "truth".

Why didn't you post the original Salon article? Afraid of letting your mark be exposed?

The idiot who wrote the Salon piece ignores that the GOP is now a largely theistic multiracial working and middle class coalition including small business in both groups that put America first and want to keep America great. That increasing numbers of religious and small business minorities are joining the GOP in record numbers shows the Salon author to be a bigot and a hater

There are large verbatim quotes from Salon in the Breitbart article.

Show us proof of this vast migration to the GOP.

Remember 2016? Such simple times. Democrats calling Trump dangerous for accusing Clinton of criminal wrongdoing, now they're calling the GOP terrorists.

Remember 2005 when the left was actually concerned about the implications of calling everyone a terrorist? I was with them then, now they're everything they once opposed.

Uh, Texas is not the whole United States. Texas is a steerhorn state that's going through lots of changes for sure, but to backup your idea is kind of ridiculous. Also, you seem to forget that Latinos are generally a conservative culture, so to them, neither label fits squarely on them, which just confounds non-hispanics.

It’s an opinion piece? Really? Are you sure? Was where the article was placed your first clue about that?

There was info about Florida too. African Americans and Asian Americans particularly if they are small business owners or farmers are making the move too but not as much as the Hispanics are doing. The threat of Florida or Texas turning blue is over with their minority population going red state. No matter how many wealthy white progressives move to them from Ca. and NY.

Out of curiosity, what is the difference between your dislike of Breitbart and his dislike of Salon. All of it is just political ideology. In other words it does nothing to make the world better.

Because I first read Breitbart and found theirs and liked their take on Salons outrageous article. They had a link to it in their article/critique of it. I’d always thought Salon was a traditional liberal publication, not a far left progressive rag. Now I know different.

They are both opinion pieces, but how the op gets to this blanket conclusion:
Is pure hyperbolic partisan bull, which is in no way supported by the Salon article, but Breitfart feeds on getting a reader like the op all fired up.

You think if I’d read the salon article alone that I’d not have gotten fired up by it?

This is the exact sort of rhetoric that gets some nut bag who has already teetering on the edge to pick up a gun and do "the Lord's work" or whatever you want to call it.

In classic projectionist form, this is stochastic terrorism

It';s long been understood that once hate becomes the dominant actor in a person's perspective capacity, it destroys the vessel containing it, like a progressive disease.
A society cannot control how people think, only the individual has the power to change that. However, it does have the power to control what kind of person is given power over others.
The successful formula for a great team is to build it with great people and great leadership. The same is true of a society. Society will always have both greater and lesser people in terms of their capacity and contributions, but if we are wise- we won't put the lesser of these on the "A" team, nor will we give them credit for vision and wisdom they don't possess..

If you label someone into a corner, they will always fight from that corner. The ultra left are breeding racists on both sides.

Wow, you got all that? Yes, it is an opinion. It also suggests a feeling by the author that folks who are conservative are evil. IS that something that you're trying to defend by attacking the source? If you don't agree with the commentary, express an opinion of your own.

Some people think the way to resolve their animosities is to get in other people's faces, insult them and blame them for the misery they feel.

    Getting tired of that crap.

There's some Biblical phrase about knowing them by their deeds.

And over the past few years, their deeds have become quite reprehensible.
