Well now, from the time I was old enough to sit in front of the TV and understand what was being said it's been NOTHING but lies, lies, LIES! Government from top to bottom, corporations, the medical community, religious leaders, and ESPECIALLY our revered "fourth estate" media. For me there are no "trusted sources".....they lie about big things, they lie about little things, they lie about s**t that don't even MATTER 24/7! And now, NOW...when it comes to dread Covid and the sorta "vaccines" I'm expected to fall on my face in awe, like they're some two-bit Moses fresh from Mt. Sinai!?! Bulls**t baby, BULLS**T!!!!!!!!

I don't see where the "leftie" bit comes from (just as I don't see any "rightie" focus on anti-vaccine and COVID conspiracies). It just seems to me that Americans can't talk about anything without putting it in binary us/them context (typically left vs right, Democrat vs Republican or black vs white). I think it only serves to distract from understanding the real issues.

OK, so US conservatives & their fellow travellers in other nations have spent decades & god knows how much money pushing the idea that the earth is a few thousand years old and whole scientific disciplines are a lie, giant conspiracy, work of satan or some combination of the above. Yet it is 'lefties' questioning GMOs who are reponsible for people refusing to take vaccines.

    Sure.

There are certainly pockets of hard core anti-vaxxers from all over the political spectrum, the the mass denialism of the past 12 months leans pretty heavily right, especially in he US. Look at polling on who is prepared to take the vaccine. Hell, just spend a while looking at the politics of those on this forum claiming the death figures are a lie, claming the vaccines don't work and generally pushing conspiracy theories & junk science. they lean VERY heavily in one direction. The idea that people at Trump rallies are booing Trump's suggestion to get vaccinated is somehow the result of anything the left is doing is just absurd.

I keep wondering if I will live long enough to see the 'personal reponsibility' crowd actually ever take reponsibility for anything. I'm not convinced I will, and I plan to live for decades.

LOL. Well, Biden is not taking responsibility for anything. Inflation isn't his fault. Foreign policy blunders aren't his fault. Covid isn't his fault. Illegals flooding over our Southern border aren't his fault.
