The Midterm election, for all intent and purposes, is over. It didn't go as the pollsters had said. So; now it is time to analysis. Who do you think were the winners and who were the losers? Let us try not to be like the main- stream media and just talk our book. The numbers say that the Senate will be led by the Democrats and the House by the Republicans. Not much news there, but, both have the slimmest of majorities which can lead to a lot of fireworks.

I see no real winners, except perhaps the American people, as the brakes may be put on the wreak less spending we have had to suffer these past few years. It will be hard to get any major programs through because each party has splinter groups that will hold out against the old guard. Biden is not going to lay down and change course as he sincerely believes he is taking the country on the right track. He will blame the Republicans for any programs he cannot get passed or funded.

The Republicans win who chairs what committee. This can be a two edge sword as now they have some power but if the get too aggressive with revenge or go down the path and have no facts or evidence of corruption they will do no better than the Democrats did.

My loser is Donald Trump. The man just cannot get away without saying something insulting about those who do not support him but also those who do.

My winners are those who choose to retire and not run again or were defeated in their races. There is no extra money to fund new programs let alone old ones. IMO there will be no student debt relieve. Infrastructure allottments of money will be rolled back. The debt ceiling will be risen to avoid default. Social Security COLAS will be scaled back. The Keystone pipeline will not be resumed. The Border Wall be stymied by Biden as corporate America wants cheap labor. Your Thoughts?

Repubs won the House and the Dems retained the Senate...

My loser is those losers that Trump insulted and then cry and whine like little girls because Trump was mean to them...

i don't think the democrats realize how soundly they were defeated or how badly they are losing the propaganda war. of course, it could have been worse, but this was far from a victory for truth, democracy and the working class, as will soon be demonstrated by the impeachment of hunter biden's laptop.
