I am tired of all the ban babies. We dont like something, we feel powerless to make change, we pull out the "BAN THIS OR BAN THAT CARD" Im calling you all out. STOP IT!!! STOP IT NOW!!! Quit being so freaking lazy and looking for the easy way out. Quit with the hopeless, powerless feelings of ineptitude in making meaningful changes and get off your sorry, lazy butts and come up with real solutions to root causes. If we are to survive as a people, as a country founded on the basic principles put forth by the founding fathers then we need to rise up and find real solutions to problems. Banning anything we dont like is NOT a solution. Its a cop out. I used this badly parapharsed quote i heard a few years ago in another thread about hiding behind the 2nd amendment. It is worth repeating "The purpose of the Bill of Rights in particular and the constitution as a whole is for the people to tell the government what it CANNOT do. Not for the government to tell the people what they can do. " Again, a ban is not a solution. IT'S A SURRENDER.
I say we ban, banning things. The problem with a list of things that are banned is it only grows and grows.
