Let's not pretend that Kim Davis is acting god's will, she is actually working against god and his plan. Christians seem to believe that god spoke through Paul, so here you go. God stated that all authorities are established by go himself. So why is Kim Davis working against god's will?

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

When she has violated Biblical law as well. LOL

Both Levitical and Paul, the same "laws" she was using to deny people their rights. LOL

    I lol so hard.

yes, it is so easy to defeat highly emotional and angry right wingers on this forum - too bad they cannot see the errors of their ways

They use the Bible to deny people basic human rights, yet, I do not believe they actually read the Bible beyond a couple verses that aid their political motivations.

Hitler also used the Bible to deny people their rights as well which is something right wingers forgot especially since they denied religious people of conscience their rights in time of war.

They forget that Hitler was Catholic and invoked god in dozens of speeches.

    Whoops!

    I agree---
What I find very disturbing is GOP Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee,Mr. Bible thumper & all, defending Mrs. Davis-makes one wonder if he has even opened the BIBLE!!!!
And then you have other GOP Presidential hopefuls defending Mrs. Davis on her not having to follow the law---they should disqualify themselves from running,as if they are not willing to adhere to or they do not understand the laws of our country, they surely can not place their hand on the BIBLE (if) any would become POTUS & solemnly swear(you know the oath of office)!!

It sounds like you guys disagree with her interpretation of the bible.

Christians have been doing that for almost as long as there have been christians, so that's no surprise.

He read Leviticus but skipped the "judge not lest ye be judged" bit.

So Moslem, you say MoHamMad ("If you find anyone doing as Lot's people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done”) was following God's law? And the Koran is the perfect governing authority; you have probably seen the topic on here about the perfect Koran. So if their governing authority from God's will says kill the Homos, we should kill the homos?

{that was easy} We are not supposed to ask the Holy Spirit that Christ said would be our helper (atheists call it a conscience) just obey Wolverine's logical teachings, obey the governing authorities, kill the Homos...?

but we live under a system of separation of church and state which means her interpretation of the bible is not supposed to have any bearing in her job

    Or Timothy 1:

8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

then what is the state doing messing about with the institution of marriage? It was originally a function of the church, which is why people usually got married in churches instead of with government employees.

Wrong. Please see The Book of Daniel. When the government goes against God and compels you to go against God, then you are compelled to take a stand against unGodly orders. And Pauls Epistles aren't the only place in the Bible that condemns homosexuality. Please also remember your History the early Christian were chrucified because they wouldn't obey the governing authorities commands to recant their Christian faith.

So then this is Biblical contradiction #376, correct? Clearly Paul demands that Christians follow the law of the government as all authorities are established by god... or did Romans 13:1 offer an exception I am unaware of?

You are right, Paul is not the only sections that speaks against homosexuality. The other place is Leviticus which demands that homosexuals by killed. Which is why your book is vile.
