liberals have duped weaker minded men for a few decades now

The millenial generation is in for a world of hurt when they hit the job market and find out no one cares about their snowflake feelings or their proped up feelings of self worth without having actually done anything of value yet.

I have a very close group of male friends who share similar values and we are all very successful in the business and/or private sector job market

    Things we have in common:

    1. We own guns
    2. We hunt and fish
    3. We work and build our own vehicles ( when it's economical)
    4. We go camping
    5. We raise our boys to be boys (no barbie dolls)
    6. We don't make excuses, we just do what needs to be done because that's what men do
    7. We don't baby our kids or sing them false praises, if they earn it they get a high five
    8. I teach my boys their is a God and not to be so cocky about life because one day they will die and have to answer to the man upstairs
    9. I sacrifice my own happiness MANY times so my wife and kids can be happy (you would be surprised how many self absorbed men there are with silly hobbies they would rather do than be with their families)
    10. Most of us drink Cooks Light!...haha

What does my wife and kids think about me acting like a a man? Well after 12 years I think she's pretty happy to have someone who knows how to get (*)(*)(*)(*) done (her words)

In the end, be a man, you will have a great family if you do!

Good for you! Glad you were able to re-educate your wife to accept that men aren't ogres.

Just want to point out, using your list as a guideline, Trump is a weak man.

What's gay and has 8 arms?
Four guys drinking Coors Lite. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Don't know about liberals. Have no idea what their list looks like. My list is different than yours.

Men protect women children and animals. (This excludes the Bundy ranch idiot who was prepared to use women and children as shields.)

    Be yourself.

Honesty. Mean what you say and say what you mean.

Don't take (*)(*)(*)(*) from no one.

    Don't give up.

Integrity. Don't make promises you can't keep, and live up to those you make.

1 thru 4 are hobbies, which have absolutely nothing to do with manhood.

And the way I see it, fire and brimstone religiosity denotes weakness, not strength.

You are correct sir, that's what I said " things we have in common"

I'm not claiming I have all the answers to be a good man, husband and father..merely sharing in common things me and some of my good friends with good lives share

Funny. I live in NJ and I have a lot of frinds myself who

    1. Own guns
    2. Go camping
    3. Work on cars and motorcycles
    4.Hunt and fish
5.Some act like morons and teach their kids to be pompous A Holes and others raise their kids to be well rounded humans
    6. Don't walk around with our chests pumped up proclaiming what superior "men" we are
    7. Some have kids that are gay (some of those hunt, fish, camp, and work on cars by the way)...and we deal with it and love our kids
8.Some are very religious, others not so much. We basically treat that like each has his own business and we stay the hell out of it.
9.Some of us sacrifice for our families (the good ones) and some don't. Don't EVEN pretend your friends are any different.
    10. Some drink Coors Light...others drink real beer.

But don't let reality stop your pompous pronouncements

It isn't a personal attack. I didn't even mention you. You can thank liberals though for protecting wildlife areas where you camp & trying to keep the mercury and other toxic crap out of your water that your children would otherwise be filling themselves with when they hunt and fish.

That's fine. I enjoy the same things, except at my age, I now pay people to fix my cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Your premise is strong vs weak. That's what I'm calling you on.

Nice stereotype. The Millennial are not one dimensional nor are all liberal.

I have saved two lives, so who is more successful in life, you or I? Your success in business, while commendable is in the end very low on on my measure of success. You a parent? Being a successful parent to me is far more important than being a success in business. Perhaps you have saved a life and if so I would say that is far more important than being successful in business. I just find it strange that when speaking of success you chose to attach success to a material endeavor rather than attaching success to a more altruistic endeavor.

Anecdotal. As for what is it to be a man? It is relative as what constitutes being a man to one will be anything but to another.

    1. Probably semi auto, real men shoot muskets.
    2. Probably with a rod and reel, real men use a stick, thread and hook. Or a spear.
    3. Real men walk or ride horses
    4. Real men don't use tents or campers. Sleep under the stars with a rock for a pillow
    5. Real men teach their boys to be men
    6. Real men don't marry, they have a woman waiting for their return in every town they travel to.

No real man drinks a lite beer. Full bodied. Better yet, moonshine.
Real men will wrestle a bear, just for fun.
