Speaking of grief, you sound like a man who fully expects the South to rise again!

That's not the way I hear it. He's made up all the revenues lost by identifying some entrepreneurial companies on their way up like Club Glove and iDrive and helping them become success stories.

He's done fine and will continue to do fine.

No, those advertisers stick to the shows you're partial to.

You sound like a jaded old stereotype who's never listened to Rush for more than an hour, tops.

Otherwise you'd know how silly your characterization sounds.

Like Will Farrell doing Robert Goulet.

It's a sweet, light hearted, fun, silly show that never looks down it's nose at the people on the show nor in the audience. Why wouldn't it be a ratings winner?

He has well thought out Conservative positions and opinions which he delivers in an entertaining fashion. He says the things you wish you'd said. He says things you need to hear and may not hear anywhere else what with the media's left wing bias. He sets an agenda which keeps the Obama regime mindful of it's promises and responsibilities and failures and peculiarities of perfrmance and policy. And he does it in a way that makes you wish HE was in the Senate or House or the Oval Office.

He is wealthy and owns a Gulfstream what is it, a G 550?

No, they're too weak financially compared to the northeast and west coasts, who wouldn't have that. But I'm sure they'd try if they thought they could get away with it. They could form their perfect white Christian "real America"

The exact opposite is true, back in 2010, I listened to Rush everyday, while I was working nights for a few months.

What I did was write down anything he said that sounded questionable, or contrary to what I'd heard before. I started a thread on another web site called "Lies Rush Limbaugh told today"

See...one definition of lie is to willingly deceive, and the other is to create false or misleading impressions. While he's too smart to tell a lie, because he knows he's being watched. He will create false and misleading impressions like a jedi mind trick master.

It turned out that I was able to debunk about 30% of the impressions he created with his listeners everyday, and yes, I kept track.

The reactions I got from Rush listeners was at first kind of like entering a smoke filled back room without being invited, and when I started inviting Rush fans to address the false and misleading impressions Rush leaves, which of course they fully embraced as facts...they scattered like cockroaches, and hurled all sorts of insults like, "get a life", or "is that all you have to do", etc...but nobody successfully defended him.

In conclusion, I found that Rush spins false and misleading impressions so fast, and for 3 hours a day, it takes a week to unwind 1 day's worth of "lies" (false and misleading impressions), and even then, Rush fans won't accept reality.

So fine the CEO of Cumulus has gone public accusing RL for the extremely poor financial showings of his company.

The only way they can sell RL ad time is by drastically cutting rates or offering 2 for 1 specials.

Club Glove and iDrive? Heheh....where's Cadillac, Budweiser and BofA. The fact is RL can only get ad dollars from small privately held christian companies because the CEO's of publicly held companies would be fired for buying on RL.

I wouldn't be surprised if RL got too light on advertisers that the Koch Brothers or the GOP wouldn't just flip the bill to keep him on the air.

He is the GOP's pit bull after all, because he makes far righties feel less crazy, and makes moderate righties seem almost rational

Obama's victory taught us all a lesson... there will be no more honest presidential elections. If the Senate turns Rep in 2014, that will be the will of the people being heard... not the rigged pres election of 2012.

But Obama's 2012 victory was the will of the people.

He didn't win because of any kind of cheating or gerrymandering

Limbaugh is more of an entertainer than anything else. He's good at his craft and he knows how to appeal to listeners base desires because people like hearing someone affirm what they may already feel. So while people may not know specifics about why the Democrats are bad, or why Republicans are good, if they already lean that way to begin with, Rush only validates their existing biases. Rush may create more excrement with his mouth than a farm of horses in a year, but he's not a stupid man, and he knows what he has to do to stay on top and be popular.

Exactly, and that's why hurling the accusation that Fox or Rush is "brainwashing" righties is so useless.

The thing about Rush...is that he's been a natural at that since the 80''s.

Fox News held untold number of focus groups at great expense just to figure out what already lurks around in the brackish goo of Rush's brain.

At the same time...it's just a coincidence that the anger and paranoia Rush truly embraces happens to be necessary for him to be that good. I don't think anyone could do what he does so well if they were faking it, no matter how smart they are. He's like another Josef Goebbels, or Bill Clinton

I hear what your sayin' Smarty...but Obama won by a lot more than 6 votes.

In fact he won by 4,967,000 votes...

If people voted 6 times...it would have taken 828,000 people to each vote 6 times, and even then, he would have only tied Romney.

Surely with 828,000 people doing that, we'd have caught more than 1. What with Fox News combing the country side for stuff like this.

Don't be naïve, dear. For every roach you step on, there are thousands more scurrying around behind the walls.

I have faith in this country. There just aren't enough morons living here to legally elect Barack Obama the second time. It's not necessary to prove fraud & corruption, the fact I don't personally know more than a handful of people who voted for him is proof enough for me. Statistics can be skewed... surely you've learned THAT by now!!

It's really immaterial. My point is... if the 2014 elections mirror the results of the 2010 election, that victory will be a clearer voice of the people than any presidential election, because there's no electoral college involved. It's the voice of the states.

Ole Rush is in good company in the liberal camp. Nobody scares 'em like this duo.

LOL. Both of them are grifters and the noise you hear from the left is laughter.

Although there were other factors, McCain's choice of Palin helped solidify Obama's victory in 2008 and Limbaugh's slander of Sandra Fluke was the beginning of the end for Republicans in 2012.

But keep believing that either of them is a Republican asset or that they scare those of us on the Left.

    I believe you're projecting, honey.

But it's ok. White trash like you will always blame successful blacks for your plight in life instead of looking in the mirror.

You mean the spitter and the quitter(it's up to you do figure out who is who, but I will give you hint--one visits the Dominican Republic with lots of Viagra and is on his fifth marriage but doesn't have any children and the other decided that it would be more profitable to resign as governor).

Rush fans keep saying that, but no liberals that I know are actually scared of Palin or Rush.

Palin is hysterical, and I miss her melodic meandering tone of voice, and those "dear in the headlights" bug eyes when she doesn't really know the meaning of the words that are coming out of her mouth.

And Rush...I don't listen to him anymore because I know what I need to know about him.

Maybe there are some libs out there that are threatened, but nobody needs to be.....just look at what happened last November. Rush said Romney was going to win, and so did Palin. So there is nothing to lose now.

Could you be more specific about exactly what the people who are afraid of them have to lose?

LOL... see how nasty they get over the mere mention of Rush & Sarah?

Wipe your mouth, honey... there's a little drool running down your chin.
