Liz Cheney is at it again. Looks like she will work tirelessly between now and November to assure that the twice impeached, 4-time indicted, disgraced former ex-president doesn't return to office She put out this scathing tweet just today..

You left out the important part: TRUMP HAS NEVER BEEN CONVICTED OF ANY CRIME IN ANY CRTIMINAL COURT IN THE NATION. Far from being disgraced, his legacy so far is cheaper gas, lower inflation, the Abraham Accords, lower crime, no new wars, lower taxes, more secure borders, and more. Far from disgrace, that legacy is stuff citizens WANT BACK.

 

God bless her! She's very worried about the future of America as the most thriving representative Republic being co-opted by a wannabee autocrat and his chosen oligarchs. Once that happens, you can vote but it won't count for ****. They are trying out the Hungarian playbook as a model.

Dems always go for statistics, like an economics college student. Moms and dads don't care about GNP. They care about paying the bills. And credit card debt is at record highs as families go into debt just to eat.

Citizens care about things that effect THEM... like gas prices, inflation, crime, border security, taxes, and education for their kids. Parents are a better judge than publications. Ask a few.

I'm not going to idealize over everything Liz Cheney stands for. I am an Independent, but I consider myself a fiscal Conservative. I would probably like some of her fiscal policies. She also seems to have the right perspective on Putin, and the need to support Ukraine. I would probably differ with her over climate change and the need to address that issue.

All that said, she is dead-on regarding Trump. Trump had every right to question the results of the election, but once the courts decided, it should have been over. Everything after that, including his electoral-steal shell game, was anti-Constitutional.

I too classify myself as a fiscal conservative independent .. hating both red and blue .. Blue's fiscal Policy is a disaster Liz is going to promise the world like they all do. Blue's Enviro Policy "Not in my back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" seeks not only to increase CO2 and Ocean Pollution - but off shore our economy to third world slave nations continuing industrialization of non industrialized peoples ... transferring our pollution problems to them .. which they are not able to handle in a enviro friendly way .. increasing both CO2 - Ocean Pollution while screwing our economy at the same time.

BUT FINE .. we don't want that bad Canada oil .. FINE, but this means we have to get it somewhere else .... Nigeria .. I see Exxon just had a big find in Namibia .. Joy .. lets celebrate the industrialization of non industrialized nations .... that along with Ocean Pollution the Main cause of increased CO2 and Ocean Pollution .. taking a rice eater who's consumption is 1 .. and trying to get them to a first world level of 36 .. the reason Global CO2 output has gone from 22 Billion tons/year to 36 Billion tons/year in 25 years .. even though first world nation emissions were flat or decreased..

We just transferred our pollution problem to the third world .. except unlike the first world .. who doesn't dump Heavy metals such as Mercury and other Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) into the Ocean .. Nigeria is a massive .. massive polluter of the Ocean .. Ocean Pollution a horse which is running faster towards the abyss than CO2.

Ukraine is another foreign Policy Disaster .. Genocide Joe .. As Tulsi Affectionately calls him .. is the architect of this humanitarian disaster .. turning Ukraine's next generation into Ukrainian Sausage .. wasting huge amounts of money on these stupid forever wars .. sending our latest JV Team to die in some mind bending desire to weaken Russia .. when we should be partnering with Russia to fight China. These are horrible blunders on the geopolitical chessboard .. The "Special Operation" could have ended in Istanbul a few weeks after it started .. And then to compare the 2020 election to the 2000 election, where the one deciding state had a difference of 800 votes. Trump lost by a landslide, and to this day, continues to be a cry-baby sore loser. Gore conceded with dignity. You'd better refine your arguments.

I get the point regarding foreign policy, and I think that Biden does have a tendency to back other world leaders into a corner. What does peace look like in Russia/Ukraine? Donbas in the hands of Russia? Crimea?

The cliche you hear with a lot of violent crime, where people blame themselves when a loved-one is murdered is "it's not your fault". I look at Ukraine as similar. If Putin escalates this war beyond Ukraine, it's his fault, not Biden's.

 

And the pollsters predicted a Red Wave in 2022. Trump will self-destruct with his hate rhetoric between now and November. Cooler head Americans will see through the narcissism.

Sorry, Trump weakened the heck out of NATO, Vlad approved. Vlad would have invaded Ukraine in Trump's second term redardless and Trump would have abandoned them in the blink of an eye as he did with the Kurds. You are not making sense, if Putin isn't stopped here, a NATO country will be next and your prophesy will then materialize. Citizens also care that they'll have a liveable world without the extreme effects of Climate Change. Trump is a Climate Change denier. Of all his undesireable attributes (hate, narcissism, etc.), his Climate Change denial is the worst to me.
