Brilliant! But I still think the x-wing's were a lie. No video of them exist, no debris recovered from the ones allegedly "shot down", no impact damage visible to the Death Star prior to its Controlled Demolition, but more importantly, the dozens of witnesses can plausibly be passed off as plants/liars/paid off government employees!!!11! I don't need to provide evidence though, because it's plausible, right Scott?
The aide to the Commander of the DS, Governor Tarkin...."just happened" to be off the DS when it was destroyed (thus surviving) and "just happened" to be the FATHER of the guy credited with the "one in a million shot" that supposedly destroyed it? Who himself "just happened" to have joined the Rebel Alliance right before the supposed attack on it?
