I'm not going to try to defend that Obama is a wuss, because he is. But it's more about countries electing what they need. Russia is in a time of pretty massive upheaval and needs a warrior. I'm not sure what you're saying, but I do acknowledge there are nationalists in Ukraine as well. Nationalism in general often leads to conflict.
