    Well, call me old fashioned, but I noticed that the protestors are out in force against a trade
    agreement between the EU and America.
    As the link says 150,000 people turned up in Germany to protest against this Trade Agreement.
    However, if you make a comparison to the FTA we have signed with China, and the obvious
    problem with more 457 visas being granted, and thousands of chinese workers taking the jobs
    of Australians...what we we do....Shorten has a moan and that's about it...
    The Union movement represented by Labor is complaining, but do we see any protests
    in the street...no of course not, we're too busy watching the football and sinking (*)(*)(*)(*) at Bathurst.
    Aah well, she'll be right mate, just chuck another shrimp on the barbie and get me
    another schooner...
    Poor dumb aussies with no balls....yep...thats us....

    Yes, its a shame & a fact; citizens in Europe are intellectually 20 years ahead of the majority of Australians. Unfortunately, this is the price Australia is paying for bastardising its country with so many low-intellect foreigners who don't care about their own country, and flee here for protection. They don't care about their own country, so why the bloody hell would they care about what happens to Australia? So long as they get free welfare benefits and government freebies, why would goat herders worry? :roflol:

    European's in general as still very much mired in concepts of Royalty and European's go out of their way to detail and display any family connections to Lordship and Royal lineage.

    It permeates just about every facet of European life as people display coat of arms in their homes and Family Tree research.

    Australian's don't do this to any extent like European's do mainly because or perhaps Australia was a penal colony but still Australia's continued connection to the Crown makes us ask questions.

    American's in general despise any notion or Royalty or Aristocracy although American's might enjoy reading about Scandal's cropping up within Royalty.

    Australia has to shake off any connections to the crown if it want's to someday reach it's full potential.

    Why do Australian's continue to have a connection to the Crown?

    I have been to Australia several times and I have always wondered why Australia continues to connect itself to the British royalty unlike the United States which severed such connections several hundred years ago?

    Yes well I have been to the Us several times and in my honest opinion it is the reason that the US is the way it is today. Take your ridiculous and out dated gun laws that result in tens of thousands of deaths a year

    Now I personally am all for a republic and separation from the Crown, always have been.

    But I would look to the US as how NOT TO DO IT

    The United States is in many way's still the WILD WEST.

    We have 320 Million people who come from every Nation on Earth and the U.S. Population contains people of every nationality...every religion, race and ideology on earth.

    It is a very dynamic multicultural population and anytime you have so many different types of people from every walk of life there are bound to be problems.

    I personally own a number of firearms such as high powered rifles, shotguns and a number of both semi-automatic and revolver handguns.

    And I sleep very well knowing I have them.

    Id prefer to live in Australia, rather than the US any day of the week amigo.....that is the no brainer of the century......

    The reason I have visited the US several times is to visit my brother in law and several cousins
    All without exception and a hell of a lot of other Americans I have met have all said that that is the biggest load of cobblers. It's really because you are a bunch of John Wayne wanna bee's who get off having at least ONE big "weapon".

    As for the "serf" remark. Just proves once again how ignorant Americans are of the truth.

    Still like the wild west, wow I thought the US was supposed to be the vastion of progress and a model for other societies to base themselves on. But you're actually saying it is a backward country still trying to become a 20 the century player
