Just a heads up for all members - as we move from winter to spring each year, our IT department needs to switch the climate control system from cold weather mode to warm weather mode. Since our server is located in North America, we make the transition on April 1st. Some of you may notice unusual temperature fluctuations throughout the day, but everything should be back to normal by tomorrow. Don't be alarmed if the Current Events forum gets hotter around lunch time and in the late afternoon; that's perfectly normal. Announcements and Community Discussions is always cold and dark anyway, so nobody should notice much difference there. You may hear scraping noises from time to time as we clean a whole year's worth of accumulated nuts out of the ductwork, and occasional banging as the plumbers repair some of the flushing problems. During odd-numbered hours, you may need to post standing up while the engineering staff moves the chairs around. We don't understand why, but they like to do that every year for some reason. We also ask that you please do not open any of the windows. Granted, we can always use a little more fresh air here, but we don't want any fruitbats to fly in. And last, please don't forget to set your clocks sideways when you went to bed last night. Thank you.
