It is a poll with very a interesting, mixed- bag of results, which one can review, through a link at the beginning of the Breitbart article. I think, however, that you are misreading the results. While it is true that those percentages favored "investigating" these things, that is far different from people prioritizing those investigations. Also, it does not mean that they will look favorably on a farcical, Republican clown show.

At any rate, here are some of the results which caught my attention, and which show a much more
centrist electorate, than the questions, you highlighted above, might suggest. The most obvious, is this first graph, that shows voters find MAGA Republicans to be more hurtful, than helpful, to the Democratic process, by 19%. Teachers Unions, by contrast, were found to be helpful, by 9% more voters; Pro-life groups, 2% more helpful; BLM, only 7% found more hurtful; the NRA, 10% more hurtful. The only group that rated worse than MAGAs, was the 4 Democratic Representatives, known as the Squad.

Biden's approval rating is showing incremental, but steady, improvement; now at 43%.

Trump beats Biden, in a hypothetical matchup; yet similar majorities prefer that neither Biden, nor Trump, run for another term. (In fact, 60% said they would consider a moderate, 3rd Party candidate, who ran in that race).

Democratic Party approval closes the gap, now tied with GOP, at 49%.

As far as issues and attitudes:

79% strongly or somewhat agree, that they would like to see (government involvement, presumably, in) reducing misinformation on the internet.

    This is the exact
same percentage, in a similar distribution, as those who'd voted, based on concerns over such things as the economy, inflation, crime, & immigration.

70% don't want Kindergarten through 3rd grade students taught about gender and sex.

62% feel Democrats have moved too far left.
56% feel Republicans have moved too far Right.
However, 61% voted, for Congress to preserve the right to abortion (which clearly, strongly favors Democrats).

More people voted for Democratic candidates, than Republicans. More Independents, who lean Republican, sat out the midterm elections.

Lastly, I'll include this chart, showing the favorability ratings, of political figures, mostly because I don't understand why the headline was that the three most popular politicians are Trump (44%), Biden (43%), and Mike Pence (40%), when Bernie Sanders is sitting at 43%, & Ron DeSantis is at 41%. Also Sanders' & DeSantis's net positives are +2, and +8, respectively, while Trump is at -5, Biden at -7, and Pence at -1.

This statement, often repeated here, astounds me. Congress is attacked while in session, serious injuries and deaths occur inside the Capital building while both houses are in a joint session and it's a "nothing burger"? It was an attempt to overrule democracy and when that dies in the US it will die over a lot of the world just getting used to the concept.

The gun charge is one that literally millions of Americans are guilty of every year. Disgusting yes but Congressional worthy? Absolutely not unless it's used to reform gun laws. Then there's the laptop. If there's something there arrest the punk but this speculation is ludicrous. Yes, I said it, he was a punk profiting off daddy's notoriety. Oh sure, but compared to the literally billions T**** and kids profited from his tenure he was a piker and a useless distraction like Billy Carter. It's ironic that the right has turned on the FBI after its blind support from the beginning. I find it hard to believe that the FBI has turned liberal as a group. In general it's always been conservative but reasonably fair with exceptions found in any organization that big. I'd also be very hard pressed to come up with an exception that was liberal.

T**** will be gone soon, self imposed exile or old age and hopefully America will use this experience to go forward much more united. In the meantime we live with horse hockey trying to distract from his issues.

it shouldn't not everyone's far left and not everyone believes that it was an insurrection.
there wasn't an attack on Congress or really anybody somebody put their feet on Nancy pelosi's desk. And the only death that there was a veteran that was murdered by a police officer that got off scot-free.
no it wasn't you're trying to pretend it's a bigger deal than it was so that you can play victim.

I would be more concerned about the corruption in Ukraine well why did was vice president. But I know that with you leftists guts daughter thing that you acknowledge. You're too busy squealing about somebody putting their feet on Nancy pelosi's desk to give a **** about anything that's going on that matters. The left is fiddling while Rome burns.

I'm not astounded you would say something like this. I wouldn't expect you to hold your party to any standard whatsoever that would be extraordinarily out of the character for people on the left.

So you are withdrawing from the conversation to whine about errors?

Typical arrogance I've come to expect from the left.

No I won't play your silly little game.

Well we can tell what you would NOT DO, which would be to check your facts. Instead you would believe whatever you'd heard or read on some garbage, Right wing website, just like the others who have been making the same, baseless accusation, that Nancy Pelosi had turned down some offered assistance. Total fantasy. None was offered; and naturally, that means none was turned down. But it is a sign of cluelessness, that you even believe that the House Speaker had been involved in security decisions, for the Capitol. She had trusted the Capitol Police, headed by a Chief, answerable to the Capitol Police Board-- and why wouldn't she have trusted them? Pelosi is not a security professional.

Here are two posts that give a timeline, to get you closer to up to speed. The first one includes the link to the entire timeline, from which I took my snips.

So Trump calls together his minions from around the country, sets them upon the Capitol, where thousands of MAGAites smash through doors & windows, injure 140 officers, some very seriously-- and this is all Nancy Pelosi's doing. Get real.

I think many of us already have a good idea about those things, those of us capable of reading between the lines of Hunter's laptop and Bobulinski's trove of documents.

Hunter was hired by Burisma to

The scope of work should also include organization of a visit of a number of widely recognized and influential current and/or former US policy-makers to Ukraine in November aiming to conduct meetings with and bring positive signal/message and support on Nikolay's issue to the Ukrainian top officials above with the ultimate purpose to close down for any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine.

And 3 months later Joe was in Ukraine threatening to withhold aid to Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma and its owner Nikolay. The prosecutor was fired and the new prosecutor closed the case.
Cant get much more corrupt than that. According to Hunter, Joe got half his income from Burisma.

Charges ranging from obstruction to assault. That's not insurrection. That's obstruction and assault. People committing such acts deserve such charges. But where are the hundreds charged with insurrection?

Many Americans are not deeply involved in day to day politics. Most Americans are wasting their time watching 24/7 reality tv pretending to be news stories.
Most Americans are busy with their daily lives of working and providing for a family or getting an education to be able to do the working and providing.

Liberals. I assume, don't think most Americans are stupid, but those who kiss trump butt are certainly stupid.

They think americans are very stupid and since they somehow keep convincing americans to vote against their own best interests by putting democrats in office....they're being proven correct. Many of them are that stupid.

Democrats losing the house was possibly the worst outcome for the country. Now when things continue to go south, they have their excuse. I would've rather seen the democrats hold both senate and house so they can't have any excuses. I think at this point it's the only way to wake people up. Just wait, the excuses during the 2024 election season as to why the economy is garbage will be the 'obstructionist republican controlled house'.
