Bless your little heart. I was in no way hitting on you. Asking about what you said was asking a question.
God bless you for being smart enough to ask a question! Hope I answered it for you in a manner you are able to comprehend. If you have any more questions, feel free to speak right up!
Haha. Are you often condescending like this? I know I'm new, but I'm betting this is a normal thing for you.
No. I only return what is given. Would you care to start again? You may be new here, but I recall your user name from at least one other forum although I don't recall which one.
If this username has been used elsewhere, it was not me. Please don't assume I'm someone else. But, maybe that explains why you started off the way you did.
Interesting to hear. I don't, but it's a clue to the possibility. Feel free to quote which post you're referencing "you started off the way you did" then read the post in which I was responding. You may want to look in a mirror when seeking to pass judgement.
Erm...where? By who? ISIS? Actually, I have a personal anecdote to tell on an LGBT person getting exactly that. I used to be an editor on Wikipedia. There was a heated debate on an article. Another editor was extremely toxic, throwing personal attacks around at everyone on my side of the debate (I've seen people permabanned on PF for way less than that). Since that person was runing the entire discussion page with tantrums which made working on the article impossible, I decided to report her. I posted on the moderator board, quoting all the personal attacks, and asking for that person to be banned from the article. The answers I got were astounding (remember, it's a moderator board). One brought up the fact that the person in question is a transgender woman. Two others said my position on the article was wrong (which is totally irrelevant, since even if I were wrong in the debate it wouldn't excuse the person's behavior). Another was like "we know her well, her life isn't easy, you need to be tolerant". Of course, alarm bells started ringing in my head at this blatant disregard for the rules (which clearly say that personal attacks are unacceptable and ban-worthy), so I looked up the profiles of the "moderators". One was a self-described male feminist. Another was a LGBT rights activist. And so on. TLDR, a trans woman goes around insulting people all over a Wiki discussion page, I report 'her' to the mods who are flaming SJW's, she gets off scot free and they attack me like I'm the problem.
Sex that gets shoved in anyone's face may be hetero, but it's not straight. As someone who isn't, I'd say that's a pretty safe bet.
LoL @ the equal protection under the law idea. That is hilarious. Tom Clancy couldn't have imagined that nonsense. I think George Orwell did though. Hm.
Most self identified homosexuals have engaged in sex with both males and females. They choose to identify as homosexual.
How much of that heterosex was caused by social pressure to conform? People don't "turn" gay. They either are or they aren't. The 50 year old father who divorces his wife to move in with the pool boy didn't turn gay, he was always gay. He just decided to stop living a lie. I'm sure wives in such instances suspected something wasn't kosher with them over the life of their marriage...or maybe they didn't know enough about men for a comparison.
It worries me that nearly 10% of respondents want to make homosexuality illegal. It would be yet another thing (along with the death penalty and banning abortion) that would put the US back into the Dark Ages.
Well, just like some people think "socialism works", some people think they can force everyone to think exactly the same way like socialist lemmings. That is not true. There's always those who won't conform for one reason or another.
Odd that you dismiss without even considering that he was instead always bisexual and chose to identify as homosexual later in life. I know a gay guy in his late 50s who identified all his life as a heterosexual, wife and a couple of kids, not because of social pressure but instead because he wanted to start a family. Now he identifies as homosexual and says he get laid all the time while as a divorced, balding, overweight heterosexual after he first got divorced, he never got laid.
If he was "always" bisexual why would he start being homosexual? Because men are more promiscuous than women?
Nobody is born with the propensity to rob banks. That being said I'm not sure people are born with a sexual orientation. Being attracted to the opposite sex is instinctual I'd say it Absolutly is something innate. I'd also say that attraction to the same sex works the same way in rare individuals. I dont buy nurture over nature creating such things.
