…Jonathan Karl asked Williamson on ABC"This Week" if she expected that Biden would debate her if the DNC held debates.

"He certainly should debate me. It's called democracy. And I'm running as well," Williamson responded.

Williamson, who launched a failed presidential campaign in 2020 that lasted just under a year, announced her second bid for the presidency on Saturday. Williamson also told NBC on Sunday that she thinks she can "beat DeSantis or Trump" in the 2024 general election.

The Democratic National Committee voted in February to move its first national primary out of New Hampshire and to South Carolina, a state which gave then-candidate Biden a huge boost during the 2020 Democratic primaries. Karl asked Williamson if she would still be competing in the New Hampshire primary election, which she said she would.

"This is a democracy. This is the thing," Williamson said. "The DNC should not be rigging this system. They don't even pretend anymore."…

She’s exactly right about what she said today on ABC’s Sunday morning news show. The DNC is doing to her what it did to Bernie in 2016. It’s good that she expects there to be primary debates.

 

It will be interesting to see the machinations of the DNC and the Biden regime in response to her.

She was on the debate stage last year, she even raised her hand like every other lib when it came to giving illegals freebies. Biden won’t debate her because he’s brain dead. The DNC will collude with the networks and find a way to keep her out. When that happens the left will have lost all credibility when it comes to giving women and the younger generation a chance at leadership.

 

DNC has not created the rules for the debate. But I think if she is the only other candidate with Joe Biden the other, she will have her shot. The problem, no one will listen to her and she has no clout. If more people join to challenge Joe Biden for the office, say four or five total, then the DNC will make a rule with those who have more than 1% of the popular vote within the DNC. And if that happens, she may not make the list. But given her political positions, she is more of a progressive than Bernie Sanders is. So, I can see why you would "support" her in her bid to take out the competition.

No political party should be able to overrule and shut down potential candidates. We saw this with trump in 2020 before he got his ass stopped by Biden and now we are seeing it with Biden in 2024.

 

Should be no political parties and that will get rid of about 80% of the political fluff and misdirection, among other things.

It's pretty sad when you hate Trump so badly that the only thing you can do to defend your guy is compare him to Trump.

That doesn't really speak favorably for your opinion of him. I would think you might have a little bit higher expectations. But evidently not.

Perhaps one day there will be a Democrat president that can stand on his own accomplishments. It certainly doesn't seem like today will be the day and tomorrow is not looking too good either
