The Germans couldn't destroy our military, The Spanish failed too. The Japanese couldn't do it. The Arabs, the terrorists, the North Vietnamese and North Koreans all failed.

Males can decide to be a girl before lunch then a male after, then males can ask themselves out on a date with their female self, get “ married “ to a sheep in the evening, get divorced before midnight and turn into a homosexual pumpkin at midnight. A good part of the military is maintaining tradition, mutual respect, and unit cohesiveness. The salute is a sign of respect and when a higher rank returns a salute ( when an officer or an officer of a higher rank to a lower rank) that is a sign of mutual respect. It is customary to address an officer as Sir or Ma’am but you can address an officer by his/ her rank.

 

Someone mentioned the left wing wackiest destroying the military. There were some things that the military did well. The racists and the right wing whackkos tried to stop racial integration claiming unit cohesiveness would suffer. It did not. Someone may claim that I contradicted myself but there is a universe of difference between operating on a basis of unlimited pseudo genders versus having a Military with multiple races which reflects the reality of our population. Maybe once us baby boomers die of you guys can just call each of “Comrade and make believe you are in the Soviet Army.

 

Mental disorder. And we are placating this **** by skirting tradition to shoe horn these weak links into the military.

 

Anybody who expects me to address them with fake pronouns will be disappointed. I think I'd actually enjoy meeting one of these clowns, just so I can watch the meltdown when I don't play their game.

 

What I worry with these people who believe that you decide to switch genders at any point in the day is that they are not grounded in reality. In the military you have not only your own life to protect you have the obligation to protect your fellow soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines. We cannot afford to have a fighter to be in and out of the realm of reality at any time.

 

Dont forget that their reality is all performative. This is really weird. A trans girl is a man pretending to be a girl trying to be a man. Think about that. Girls in the military are trying their best to be like a man. To do all the tasks like a man. To dress without gender. A trans girl is compllete ****ery. A guy playing a woman trying to be as manly as they can be.

That's messed up.

 

As I said on the other thread about this topic, it's better for them to call their commanders/instructors by their rank. ("Sergeant, yes, sergeant!") than by their gender because it reinforces hierarchy and discipline more than thinking about gender at all. The trans movement might have prompted this, but the benefits go far beyond it. It doesn't matter if your commanding officer is a man, woman, or other. That's a distraction. What matters is their rank.

 

What I find to be a mental disorder is obsessing over stupid non-issues like this one. Get over it.

 

The majority of the world doesn't want this ****. Placating a mental disorder to this degree is ridiculous.

 

Common sense does. Why change a single syllable address to a multi syllable one. I object to the switch from black to African American for the same reason. Why make life more complicated for no good reason?

 

What should they say?

 

In this case, I don't think the effects are all about transgender. It's more about removing gender as a relevant title as it's a distraction. Gender isn't relevant. Rank is.

 

The first thing I think when I hear African-American is what year did this person immigrate from Africa to America?
