Would you say the same if you bought any other PRODUCT and it failed to deliever on what was advertised?
Dude i played all the fable games and i saw star wars episode 1-3. Now if I was driving my car and the seat belts failed to work as advertised then yes there is a problem considering how much I paid and how unsafe it is. Writers constantly make bad choices and manipulate their fans that is all that happened it's not the end of the world. This is why i wait for games to get reviews first or only buy games of franchises i always like like armored core. The problem with reviews is that Bioware and EA are huge which means pretty much all reviewers are shills for the companies. The other problem is that you are ignoring that Mass Effect 3 is a product that came with certain promised features. Those features were not in the game. That is false advertising. They should not just get a pass because the writers decided to not include those features. We PAID for those features so we are ENTITLED to them.
^^ That guy bro Also what feature other than an ending that matters? What else didn't they include? Besides effort.
It doesn't matter because it's the ending that they promised would be certain things and then went, "HAHA! We fool you! Artistic licence!"
And they said my choices would have an impact from dragon age in dragon age 2 but some people didn't stay dead. Really dev's not keeping promises happens especially when they are lazy and don't care about there fans like bioware has shown in the past. Besides mass effect had a pretty lame universe anyways and after 2 did you expect it to be better.
Do you really think they would care about the ending when all they did for tali's face was 2 minutes in paint? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JwLLk3f4yU"]HOW 2 DRAW TALI - YouTube[/ame]
That wasn't advertised so it doesn't count. Only the false advertising counts. It shouldn't matter that this is a computer/video game. It's still an $80 product.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS I played all three on the PC Liked the first the second one seemed out of place joining cerberus and all..The third was better and the end could have been epic! When you finally gather up the forced to retake earth watching the entire galatic fleet jump into the sol system was great....Too bad the ending was a slap in the face. Though I hear now they are going to released DLC to patch things up...and like the poor saps we are we will buy it.
No, they didn't say they were going to patch things up. They said that they're listening and that they're working on something but that we have to stop complaining and start saying that we love the game, the game is the bestest ever. That's PR for - Shut the (*)(*)(*)(*) up.
What I don't get is people whining about 'artistic integrity', as if Bioware just produced Un Chien Andalou instead of a glossy mass-market blockbuster. Boo hoo, the entertainment industry is adding one more artistic concession to the mile-high pile of stuff they had to ditch in order to make as much money as possible in the first place. What's the big deal? Why is it so bad to give in to customers? It's a video game, not a Da Vinci masterpiece.
Agreed I was quite disappointed with Mass Effect 3's ending. The series deserved more.
