    And yet her constituents keep voting for this insane woman decade after decade.....

    She's like one of the vampires from the Anne Rice novels. Said to be about a hundred years old but probably more like 600.

    Why the hell do these people keep voting for this woman?

    Didn't she make some sort of special rules or some of them apply to her where she doesn't even have to live in the same area where she represents?

    Only if it actually can help and not just put [more] billions into the bank accounts of leftist activist organizations and/or into the pockets of Brandon mega-donors. Just giving a bill a fancy name and talking about 'bipartisanship' isn't enough if the actual text of the bill demonstrates no hope of actually doing what it's supporters claim.

    There is no magic bill that Congress could pass that could just cure homelessness like magic.

    It's far beyond the ability of simple legislation to just legislate out of existence

    Well maybe it will happen if Republicans take control of Congress. Democrats in the current session have proved time and time again they have no interest in allowing Republicans in the process. Republicans have been, by explicit rule changes signed off on by Pelosi and Schumer, excluded from contributing on major budget matters.

    Maxine Waters is gerrymandered into that position and I think it's not that bad of a thing. You draw the districts so that Democrat voters all get to have the representative they want and the more you stick them in the district the more crazy people they vote for we have one in Houston called Sheila Jackson Lee I think she's in a competition with Maxine Waters to be the world's stupidest congressman.

    So because the Democrats get their ass clown you get more right wing type Representatives.

    So when you see that concentrated stupid in one person be glad it isn't spread out over many districts.

    Translation: Let's open up the tax payer's checkbook.

    It's the district Waters represents, if anyone should make the first move it should be her.

    Those people don't need a bipartisan anything, they need jobs. Why doesn't Waters sponsor a jobs fair, El Paso has them all the time. I guess being one of the top 2 grifters in the federal government, the others being the Clintons, she can't figure out how to scam cash from a jobs fair. This is the woman who lives in a mansion outside of her district whose daughter makes hundreds of thousands of dollars putting stamps on envelopes. She's been named as one of the most corrupt politicians year after year, and if you ask her how she can afford a mansion, like Tucker Carlson did, she'll call you a racist.
