This is one concern I have with old Presidential candidates. Their competency dwindles with age. That is one reason why I am not voting for Ron Paul.

I understand you. This is also one reason why media now allows him as a potential candidate at 76.

I can see where you would think Paul is being used as a punchline for the media. However, I think they are more than likely playing scorekeeper with a revolving door.

Paul's been saying the same thing his entire career and it's all grass roots support. The republican god, Ronald Reagan, was a certifiable dumbass who never knew what he was talking about.

McCain is an ex-tortured prisoner of war, who couldn't tell you the difference in policies between President Obama or President Romney. They just know that his POW paranoia fits in well with the establishment's mantra for world-conquering.

Speak of Paul in vain again and be shoved to the bottom of the barrel with the corporatist warmongers. We take no prisoners, like McCain.

    Nah, he doesn't support Obama.

However, this is one more reason to not like Romney... McCain is endorsing him!

I agree with Putin and think McCain is crazy. McCain's family needs to have an intervention with him and tell him it's time to step down and come home and take up stamp collecting.

makes sense since that they forget the 2 party paradigm from time to time... they are all on the same team.

    Ageism alert! :)

Senility is caused by brain disease (Alzheimer's disease, Prions, auto-immune disease) not age.

Don't be afraid of the gray -- If science ever unlocks the secrets of near-immortality it would be possible for there could be 400 year olds with a clear mind and still 60 year olds who don't know who they are anymore.

A decrease in a person's competency is not the same as senility. With McCain I feared senility as well as incompetency. With Paul I fear the same.

I wonder what would have happened to McVeigh if he would not have corrected himself when McRomney approached him, and kept saying get off of me, I'm talking about my great leader Obama, don't tell me what to say...

"Ron Paul SERVED in the military, he is called isolationist and dangerous by chicken hawks who DID NOT SERVE in the military: Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, Bush, Clinton etc. all who support chickenhawks are traitors to America." peoplevsmedia Did you purposely omit Obama from this list? Ron Paul was an Air Force flight surgeon...same as being a clerk typist. Big Whoop.

Ron Paul joined the military as a flight surgeon in 1963 when he was 28 or so. He was adamantly against the Vietnam War but criticizes people who chose not to be killed in a war that Paul hated. Checking the pulse of fighter pilots isn't exactly jumping into harm's way. I don't know and can't find out where he served as a Flight Surgeon but working on the healthiest people in the military wasn't that dangerous. Checking pilots for and treating VD doesn't sound like much fun but he went 180 degrees when he got out of the military.

Do any of the people holding Paul up as a military hero know if he ever left the States? I joined the USAF, went to the war twice and came close to death working in the bomb dump once and how many times the Thai girls almost killed me I can't remember. But still I don't blame anyone for not going if they didn't have to.

In his defense, others have a hard time telling President Obama from Mitt "Father of ObamaCare" Romney apart.

It is funny to now see McCain and Romney joined at the hip, doing events together like long lost brothers. If Romney wanted to fight the "establishment" perception of him, this was not the way to do it.
