McCarthy is exactly right. Biden is sleep walking us into one crisis after another. He so badly wants to undo everything Trump regardless of the cost to the economy and to the effects on our neighbors and allies.

 

We need a strong military and the wall and energy independence. We need to stop spending so much and keep taxes low.

 

Somebody tell McCarthy the gas lines aren't because of OPEC. It was a hack. Probably in the works for months. And the company is back up and running. And...you know something...it's too early for this...McCarthy is an ignorant liar and Trump toady.

Nothing new here. The GOP leaves behind a gargantuan economic mess for the Dems to clean up, and then they blame the Dems for it. Just like what happened in 2008. It's always been common practice for Republican posters on here to blame Obama, when he inherited the greatest economic mess since the great depression. Of course, they expect Biden to turn around the economy within three months. Of course, this is not going to happen. The supply side issues ranging from supply chain disruptions to manufacturers lowering their supply in anticipation of low demand caused by covid are not going away overnight. And they all developed under Trump, but they manifest with a delay. That's how it works in economics. There is no magic wand.

 

McCarthy is right. We are going to have many energy problems in our future now that Biden took us off of energy independence. But that’s just one of the problem issues he mentioned.

 

Except that those tax increases on corporate, cap gains, and income will be paid by us workers in the form of fewer jobs, lower wages and benefits, and higher prices for what we buy. Also us middle class savers for life goals and retirement will pay with smaller returns as the big investors sell off to lock in cap gains taxes at this years rate. Then in future years they will sell more beaten down socks at a loss than before to partially offset those future higher rates. I know what the top 1% pays toward total federal income tax receipts and they pay well more than their fair share.

There was no economic or foreign policy or energy mess on Jan 19,2021. The economic impact of the China virus was already being worked through until sleepy idiot took over on 1-20-21

 

The fact you guys have to make hay about a temporary distribution problem that has already been solved shows a great deal about how Biden is doing.

But it does beg the question, since the gas lines are Biden's fault, will you give him credit for fixing it when they are gone in a day?

It should also be pointed out this country has never been "energy independent", that would only be possible if the country owned and controlled all of the gas and oil and the like being produced. But we do not, it is owned by multinational corporations that sell it all in the same marketplace to the whole world

 

It really isn't Biden's fault. It is the fault of 80 million people that voted for him knowing he suffers from dementia and that he only serves as a puppet.

Fewer jobs?? Are you even aware of what is happening in the real world right now?? There are help wanted signs all over the place! LOL

 

This is one of those right wing myths that higher corporate taxes automatically mean fewer jobs. Yet cutting taxes never results in them hiring more people.

 

What mess did we leave them? The country was great until the Chineese virus arrived and you can't blame that on Trump or the GOP.

 

While we cannot blame the arrival of COVID on them, we can discuss their reactions and actions taken to combat it.

 

How do you know? We had record low unemployment under Trump and Trump cut taxes.

Biden raises taxes and companies pack up and go to other countries. Biden creating less jobs then Trump did.

Biden is the problem here. After 4 years of Biden I'm sure our economy will never be back to where Trump had it.

To bad we don't have the Keystone pipeline that Biden killed. More jobs gone but who cares as long as Trump is gone right?
