    Factually incorrect.

Seems more than likely to me that the Senate R leadership will get closer to the House cray cray even if DFT loses. They folded on the immigration reform like a cheap suit, all at the whim of the POT. There is a substantial presence among the US electorate that fully embraces the POT insanity, the graft, the incompetency demonstrated by the POT yes tools such as Sydney Powell and Mike Lindell.

I just caught the end of George interviewing Sununu. The stupidity of Sununu's position was astounding. Not for its inaccuracy, but for its substance. He claimed that the electorate supports DFT in spite of DFT due to its desire to see R policies take precedent over D policies. And George missed his opportunity to pivot in response to ask him exactly what those R policies are. Missed the opportunity to hammer him on the R policies inserting the government between a woman and her doctor, missed the opportunity to question the astounding shift in foreign policy that has the Rs blocking aid to the Ukraine. Missed the opportunity to make explicit the hand-in-glove pandering to those that do not respect the wisdom of separating church and state. Missed the opportunity to grill Sununu on what he expected to see from these MAGA extremists should DFT lose the election. Missed the opportunity to grill Sununu on how his party under DFT's leadership has brought the validity of the election process itself into question.

US institutions are not strong enough. If they were, DFT would already be in jail.

This would be really sad for the citizenry as a whole and further undermine democracy. There was a time when governing vs campaigning was not a zero sum game.

I reckon I started out pretty young having an interest in politics. Vietnam every night on the news was inescapable and consistently begged the question, why.

The US Mexico boarder is currently a super hot topic and a bipartisan Senate deal was scrapped at the whim of DFT.

If I recall, I think Nixon engaged in similar manipulations regarding the Vietnam war to help with his reelection.

Chennault was despatched to the South Vietnamese embassy with a clear message: the South Vietnamese government should withdraw from the talks, refuse to deal with Johnson, and if Nixon was elected, they would get a much better deal.

Rs and the art of the deal - so much winning!

Problem is they are conflating "deal" with "steal" ;)

Thanks for the correction without an alternative fact.
