Well, the total narcissist is the front-runner.

I think Ryan's trying to get noticed. :)

It also shows there are elements of the GOP so desperate they are grasping at any straw.

Why shouldn't they be desperate? If they get behind Trump, they lose their credibility; if they steal the nomination from him, they lose their fringe members (who happen to be their base).

What we're witnessing might very well be the end of the Republican party.

And drafting Ryan was every bit as desperate as the Mitt Romney debacle from last week........and would have turned out just as bad for him as it did for Mittens.

The RINOS just need to understand that they can keep their jets and Filipino cabana boys......it's just their god complexes are gonna have to give a little.

They're not cool..........something coming in the near future will be seen as cool. Errol Flynn looked kind of effeminate once movie fans saw John Wayne.

As a lifelong moderate "Progressive" Democrat, I long for the (authentically) good old days of The GOP a la Eisenhower ...

Want a good laugh? Copy and paste excerpts from the 1956 GOP Platform, and start posting on threads here. (Just delete the references to Eisenhower and the Republican Party). You'll be flamed as Commie.

I dare any candidate to try that line at a CPAC convo.

I won't bother going on with this. Sure there's some mild conservative stuff in there too, but nothing like we see today.

Ryan is just making sure people know he's available for the job. Of course he wants to look like the reluctant hero kind of like when he slid into the speakership
