Now I am decidedly undecided and uncomfortable with this Democratic strategy where we throw our Democratic resources and encourage our voters to switch party affiliation, long enough to boost the prospects of radical wack-job completely incompetent candidates are the ones we end up taking on in the General election. Its cynical, its underhanded, its corrosive towards the basic mechanics of a two party system that meets the nation's needs, its just a low incredibly hypocritical thing to do. You do what you can to get the special needs candidate shoved into the ring, then talk about what how dangerous a moron this guy is to be in there, and watch voters and beat him senseless to the good fortune of your party. And yet, this idea works. "...Every single Republican who was promoted by Democrats and advanced out of their primary lost the general election on Tuesday. And all but one was losing by double digits as of Wednesday afternoon. Every one of those six Democrats, I would guess, would gladly trade the brief disapprobation for their party’s meddling in primaries for those far-easier-than-expected victories on Election Day." Presumably primaries will always have their bizzaros who run alongside much better qualified candidates. There is no way to keep them off the ballot, So is this strategy fair game, and what are the long term implications if both parties do it extensively?
Oh the Dems will make up some reason it is "different" when Reps do it and pull the "well two wrongs don't make it right".
The Democrats have infinite resources provided by high tech billionaires like Zuckerberg and fascists like George Soros. Zuckerberg, because he’s richer than god, thinks he’s entitled to control elections. Soros is mentally ill. Both are unstoppable given the mindset of the electorate, who have been programmed by the state sponsored education system.
Zuckerberg spent millions in influence elections in Michigan, and Soros spent the same to get extremely soft on crime DAs elected around the country. Eric Holder gave Soros the idea. But criminals running wild is a good thing, right? That policy just got re-elected in New York State.
SCOTUS ruled that money is speech many years ago. Republicans cheered and democrats whined. Now that democrats figured out how to use money to their advantage, you are upset.
That seems to be what they are saying Everything is only fair if the right does it and it becomes cheating when the left does it. I does seem to be resonating with the highly educated republican base.
