Migrant Caravans Head to U.S. Border in Early Test for Biden

Not really. With the wall, even though only partially completed, there will be fewer deportations. We won't catch them. They will just turn around and go home or find a new less convenient location. All of which reduces the number trying to come into the US.

 

Gentlemen, I would suggest that the immigration 'policies' of both Obama and Trump fell well short of anything that was effective!

Obama's supporters love to point out all the deportations that occurred in his time -- but -- so often these were little more than 'revolving door deportations', with the same criminals coming back into the United States illegally, committing crimes every time they did. Anybody remember the tragic shooting of Kate Steinle...? She was killed by a 'revolving-door' illegal alien criminal!

Trump should have SEALED THE BORDER SHUT to all immigration -- period! "Asylum" should only have been granted to those who applied for it properly AND who could prove that they were in danger of acts of violence by a foreign nation against themselves specifically!

Instead, Trump decided to build a 1,550 mile-long 'wall'! He should have deployed mobile military intercept teams, armed aerial drones which could easily be 'flown' from any computer console, and lethal and non-lethal anti-personnel mines in highly-congested border areas where invasions were known to take place. ZERO-TOLERANCE for all illegal invaders should have been mandated, but wasn't....

Now we have an incomplete wall that will never be finished, and the ruins of it will be a laughing stock for decades to come....

Look, when Trump took over four years ago, when were already choking and gagging on far more 'immigration' -- legal and illegal -- than we could hope to absorb sensibly. He should have declared a total moratorium on all 'recreational' immigration for an initial period of five years, and only after that period could a review be conducted to reverse immigration policies....

At least illegal aliens won't have her to use for target practice anymore....

 

I'll tell you exactly what will happen. The White House, not PE Biden himself, will issue a single statement peppered with limp language about border policy. Then the White House will order an emergency action to both assess the 'refugee' status of the invaders and provide 'medical assistance'. Of course doing this means they'll have to be let into the US and briefly held at various centers knowing full well that processing will be futile and overflow will simply be given 'compassionate release'. Media will run interference at every turn with a campaign of misdirection and race baiting, of course they'll have on various clowns like AOC to regurgitate the 'Trump put kids in cages' lies. The news cycle will last mere days, even Fox will bury it. The 1/10/100 thousand people in that invader caravan will be free to live in America and collect social services, and the whole process will repeat in a month once the word gets out that America's borders are open again.

Remember Republicans this could have all been avoided but you traded America for a few months of anti-mask tirades so, /shrug, thanks I guess.

 

Well, what's done is done. It's my OPINION, then, that all taxpaying American citizens should learn to speak, read, and write Spanish.
