The Hammonds don't want their help, but the militia is here anyway, as apparently they have been before when people didn't want their help. I don't know how constitutional sending someone to jail is after they've already been jailed. It seems like it would not be legal for a higher court to supersede the sentence of a lower court. It appears, however, that they don't want the militias help, so there's no reason for them to be here. If there is constitutional footing then they need to collect money and send it to the Hammonds defense rather than take them hostage and get in a standoff with whoever the court sends after them.

Oh there was an armed show down. The cops were out gunned and out manned, with militia snipers having them in their sights, so the cops backed off. I don't know how you can construe that into anything like the Tamir Rice incident.
