Funny you should mention that, when I was a kid a family could do that with one parent working, 'course that was before "both" political parties decided to represent the donor Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class alone to the detriment of society as a whole and rerigged the economic system to benefit the substantial people and balance that out on the backs of everyone else. And we're still taking more and more from them and redistributing societal wealth to the top even as we type.
I have heard this over and over yet no person that hangs with the Democrats has explained how it is done. So, who are these awful rich people making my life more miserable. As I recall my and your youth, we grew up with just the radio, no electronic games and we went out weekends on family picnics. Today they can get all the entertainment they want at the press of a button.
