The mRNA vaccine is nothing even remotely similar to the flu vaccine as that form of technology has been and perfected for over a 7 decades. This is the first ever mRNA vaccine to combat a virus.

Granted, if Novavax would to release their vaccine using old technology, there would be WAY less hesitancy! Granted, to many peoples pockets are getting lined by Pfizer, J&J and Moderna right now.

 

School system shouldn't be doing this... Set the deadline and if the parents don't get it done by then, prepare to save for testing out of their pocket or find another learning option...

I was ALWAYS for those who were high risk access to a vaccine. Never veered form that thought process.

I never recall the right ever advocating expelling people from society for not getting vaxxed or lambasting people for not taking the vaccine or even in some cases advocating shooting people who are "anti-vax". Children are not in danger of CV-18. They do not need to be vaccinated if we are following actual Science. Parents doing so, not knowing of the terrible side effects for many kids, is negligent.

Record numbers of children are now being home schooled in California and we will have a proposition on the ballot to put the $ in the hands of the parents like a voucher system in the next election. You are once again conflating two TOTALLY separate arguments. I have no issue with vaccines and feel EVERYONE that has a comorbidity should 100% get the COVID vaccine. You can't ever find a post from me stating otherwise. I do feel that injecting it into kids that have virtually a zero chance of dying should wait until we get further data. Matter of fact, I think even those younger than 40 should wait as we have no long term data on the impact to our immune system over time. These people are low risk (with no comorbidity) of death or hospitalizations and a recent Oxford study has shown that vaccinated healthcare workers actually carry 251 times more viral load than that of the unvaccinated. Data mate!

And how all of a sudden we all forget how Pharmaceutical companies have worked in cahoots with our own FDA to create and advocate misleading labeling on the safety of their product. How many thousands of people did Purdue Pharma kill with their less addictive campaign or the misleading safety advisory of Pfizer's Bextra, Geodon, Zyvox and Lyrica/ They have made up that 2.3 billion dollar settlement by about 25 times! Or Johnson and Johnson safety claims that many women are paying the ultimate price today.
