have you ever explained why this sort of attitude towards Israel? I don't suspect that you are palestinian. I have proffered the reasons why I think some people on this board-who are not Islamists-bash Israel

do you support the right of Israeli citizens to be well armed? I sure do and this October 7 Islamist act of terrorism was a wake up call to both Israelis and Jews in the USA

    .

% is a direct reflection of quantity. Again wow how can you not know this.

False comparisons to make a false allegation of large quantity is just that: false. That’s why those of us who are honest debaters deal with percentages—they don’t lie or misrepresent. I could do the same as you and compare these numbers with WWII to show how small they are but again, false comparison, and I’m not like you. I debate honestly, not spin

.005%. In a month and a half. That’s the fact, it’s not a large quantity. You lose. I highly suggest you stop quadrupling down on not knowing definitions and accept it.

They can’t stop everything as Israel does not control all of gazas borders. Egypt can allow whoever and whatever through in either direction. And as for Israel they are allowing some aid, it’s part of the hostage deal, no it’s not enough but then again, no one is trying to give enough resources for 2.3 million people. Where are these resources for 2.3 million just itching to be brought in? It doesn’t exist. What does exist is thoroughly inadequate supplies that won’t be enough either way which means they either suffer or the war comes to as quick a conclusion as possible with Hamas being defeated.

Unfortunately you aren’t exactly rooting for a quick Hamas defeat are you? Nope, not hoping for that at all

I think the poster you addressed is a fan of "from the river to the sea" based on prior posts.

Nobody wants to support Hamas - outside of Iran, or whatever. Your question makes no sense.

Israel is waging genocide on Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank, and has been doing so for decades, stating they will never stop.

I really don't believe this is about Hamas. Obviously, action against Hamas was required.

But, this is being handled as just one stage of the genocide of Palestine.

Again, this is not about percent of the population killed in this particular event.

The genocide in West Bank has to do with building walls, bulldozing the homes of Palestinians, stealing their water rights, destroying their orchards, cutting off large sections and ruling those inside by Israeli military law with zero representation. This is an act of genocide.

In Gaza, Israel has worked to totally destroy their economy, leave a majority in food insecurity, deny travel, limit all aid including medical, bomb their infrastructure - water, electricity, etc. They aren't allowed to export. They are not allowed to fish their own waters. They are not allowed to develop their off shore gas reserves at a time they can't FEED themselves due to Israel.

Beyond that, those they kill have been done so in a way that shows they have ZERO respect for human life - which has been true in the past as well. They start by blowing up the water supply!!!

What are the people supposed to do at this point, given that Israel has assured they have no water, no food, no shelter - the necessities of life?

What we see is uncontrovertibly a decades long act of genocide.

??? There is no threat to destroy them.

Seriously. Israel is a superpower. They OWN this war.

You are declaring yourself to be a supporter of humanitarian atrocity and genocide.

I really don't know how to respond to that kind of criminality.

    I see.

You think there is justification for Israel to slaughter 5 million people.

Is there any chance you could notice what that makes you?

How you can claim genocide has nothing to do with dying is beyond me. But there you go.

Rest of your recitation from the Hamas Times isn’t even worth the reading since you can’t even get past basic definitions

that's not factually true unless your definition of genocide is not one that is commonly known. and if the IDF wanted to perpetuate genocide on Gaza, it certainly could do so without risking much in the way of their military by carpet bombing the area since they have complete air superiority

I use the one that the USA helped create and supports, the definition used by the UN, and is accepted world wide.

I cited it a few times already.

I didn't say that it had nothing to do "dying" - by which I assume you mean killing.

I'll do so again, using a different source. You can compare this wording to my previous cites:

"According to the Convention, genocide is a crime that can take place both in time of war as well as in time of peace. The definition contained in Article II of the Convention describes genocide as a crime committed with the intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, in whole or in part."

    https://www.un.org/en/genocideprevention/documents/Genocide Convention-FactSheet-ENG.pdf

Israel has for decades been guilty of genocide on the Palestinian people in the nation of Palestine.

I can live with your disapproval. :blahblah:

My support for Israel is unconditional. I also like Jews a lot. You are a supporter of terrorists.

well Israel sure isn't doing much to achieve that-telling non combatants to leave etc

as I noted-AND NO ONE HAS DISPUTED, with complete air superiority, Israel could quickly destroy Gaza in less than two days with air power.

Hamas started it. The Israeli Defense Force is ending it with the destruction of Hamas and the deporting of Palestine.

The Palestinians could have saved themselves a lot of trouble by accepting Jewish domination, and becoming a source of cheap labor for the Israelis.

I think they do better economically in Israel than they do under Hamas. Hamas leaders live in luxury and do nothing to improve the economy of those who were stupid enough to vote them into power

The Palestinians are the only people I know who keep demanding unconditional surrender from a nation that has defeated them time and time again.

The Jews are the most accomplished 0.2% of the human population. What have the Palestinians accomplished during their two thousand years of existence? The world of the mind has heard nothing from the Palestinians but angry slogans.

I am reasonably confident that leftists in the West who side with the Palestinians against Israel would rather live in Israel than in any Muslim country in the world. What the Left hates about the religious right is far more true of most Muslims.

A gay rights demonstration in a Muslim country is unthinkable. By the time the police arrived to arrest the demonstrators, those demonstrators would have been beaten to death by a raving mob of Muslims.

Yeah, gays/lesbians and the gender confused groups would realize that being "stoned" in an Islamist regime isn't quite what they are used to in the USA
